About Veer Dhara Restaurant & Bar
Veer Dhara, at the top of Hatfield Road in St Albans, is the brainchild of an entrepreneur named Surinder Singh who is based in Central India. This means that the restaurant aims to provide not only the authentic Indian taste but to demonstrate that excellence, diversity, tradition and affordability can all go hand in hand. The restaurant features hand-carved wooden furniture, portraits of various Indian Royals and the food is served on fine china making the whole dining experience a tasteful affair. The Head Chef Dharmandar Sharma is well travelled, having cooked in both India and China and brings his knowledge to all his dishes which he creates here in England. Aside from serving Indian cuisine they also house a vibrant cocktail bar which is the focal point as it is situated in the middle of the restaurant and offers a wide range of cocktails, including their own creations like Pink Lady and Cappuccino Delight.
