About Villa Romana

Liverpool’s Villa Romana offers one of the city’s most atmospheric and traditional Italian dining experiences. Exposed brickwork, tiled floors, arches, beamed ceilings, chunky wooden furniture and checked tablecloths all help give the venue a real rustic feel with Italianate frescoes and murals and the odd Roman sculpture providing the finishing touches. The friendly staff add to the warm and relaxed ambience and the menu offers the kind of traditional home-cooked Italian food you might expect. Neapolitan pizza is hand made every day alongside fresh pasta, grilled and pan-fried meat and fish dishes, an antipasti selection, speciality breads and salads and complemented by a selection of Italian wines. Villa Romana is open every day for lunch and dinner, Tuesday to Sunday.

Was on a girls weekend and went for something to eat and just asking about where is a nice Italian, and was recommended, pleased we took the advice. We waited 15 mins to be seated as there were a few of us but well worth the wait, food lovely staff friendly, and good atmosphere, will be going back. Michelle.

Even though I live in Warrington now, still my favorite in Liverpool, Good staff, splendid food, lovely atmosphere, affordable prices and bang in the middle of town. 5 stars from me.

I visited Villa Romano this weekend. Atmosphere was good comfortable seating arrangements, although the restaurant was busy we were seated within 10 minutes and we were in no way cramped. The food was served in a time period that would surprise you for an empty restaurant and as I said it was busy so very impressive. We were a group of six and all food came together again a big tick. Now the food, hot fresh and delicious and very reasonably priced. I will be going back and encourage others to do so. I do not write comments normally unless very good or very bad and this deserved a comment.

I've been a Villa Romana regular for over 10 years now - it's definitely my favourite restaurant in Liverpool! The food is always fresh and tasty, and the staff are attentive. Delfino, the typically Italian manager, seems to really care about his customers! I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough! Give it a go, you won't be disappointed!

i have been going to the villa for 5 years, the staff are great and always very helpful. Ive used it for entertaining clients at work family meals, Christmas staff nights out and romantic meals with my hubby. You wont be disappointed with anything about your time there.

I travel to Liverpool regularly on business and came across Villa Romana whilst wandering around the city. The food and service is excellent as is the price. The restaurant is deceivingly large and can cater for large groups either upstairs or downstairs. I have visited the restaurant about 15 times now and have never been less than impressed with the food
