Sunday 26th 2010, My wife, Me and my 4 year old son happened to be in Huddersfield on a Sunday afternoon at about 3:30pm, we were hungry. We were walking through town and stumbled upon the voda bar and grill. We have eaten out on a Sunday in many pubs, bars and restaurants but not one of them has ever come close to this. The staff were friendly and accommodating, they had no special menu for children but were happy to do a smaller portion of anything for our son. We opted for the special Sunday menu with starter and main, the traditional Sunday Lunch. Lets get on to the food, it was absolutely brilliant. The Chicken portion was sizeable and cooked perfectly, not dry like every other restaurant I have eaten at, the selection of vegetables had been carefully prepared and perfectly cooked. The potatoes, mash, roasted and new potatoes were equally cooked with care and obviously by a professional chef. The gravy was also delicious. Now for me this is the benchmark, others will seriously have to raise their game to compete with this. I never write reviews, but I was so impressed by this that I felt compelled to. The only surprise was that there weren't queues outside the door. I am dying to sample some of the other meals on this menu next time we are in Huddersfield. I have no hesitation in giving this place 10/10. Brilliant!!!!

went for Sunday and had really cracking Sunday dinner . me and my wife have been going quite a bit since it changed hands and although the burgers and pie satisfy , they can get a bit boring on a regular basis . the new Sunday menu is basic needs for a good Sunday "sit down and pig out " session !!! good beef (with pork or chicken aswell ) and the gravy is to die foooor .

i went to voda bar and kitchen for lunch today and i must say it is one of , if not the only restaurant/bar in the area actually serving good , fresh , homecooked food . the atmosphere was warm with well lit areas which would make large groups welcome , but me and my husband dined in one of the many cozy booths .
i will be back to sample the rest of the menu but it will be hard to drag myself away from one of the best burgers iv had for years !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
try get there its great xxxxxxx

Ever since its opened i've been going to Voda Bar & Kitchen every week, the food is great but inexpensive, drinks are cheap and they've even started doing my favorite beer Lindeboom! (only in bottles though). i have decided to book my 28th Birthday there early next year as they have a fantastic private bar downstairs. If you want good food at a good price i would certainly recommend this place to anyone!!

Ate last night at Voda Bar and kitchen and really enjoyed it. Its a fairly new place with new owners. The atmosphere is awesome and must have cost them a small fortune to fit out! Food was English bistro style with a wide choice of snacks and meals, its good to know i could just pop in there after work for a quick drink and a snack.
Well worth a visit.

My wife and I visited Voda Bar & Kitchen last week for the £7.50 two course meal. We had visited before when it was Lounge 68 and was never disappointed with the meals, but on this occasion
it was outstanding. The fish pie and accompanying vegetables were cooked just right and was followed by a generous portion of sticky toffee pudding in a rich sauce. The quality was excellent and the staff charming. Can't wait to go back.
