Although the food was excellent, the waiter we had was very rude, abrupt and not helpful at all. Unfortunately this soured the outstanding quality of the food. The portion sizes are large and this particular waiter was adamant that taking away untouched dishes due to misinformed portion sizes was not allowed so order lightly and add as needed. I will not be going to this restaurant again despite good food, I do not agree in paying for poor service.
Harrison Food
The food was excellent, the best we have had in a long time. The price was good too. We will definitely be going back!

Vujon is a lovely restaurant on Newcastle's Quayside. The menu has typical Indian dishes with a twist. The food does not fail to live up to the high standards one expects. However, the service is poor, plates are taken away whilst you eat, the staff show little interest when taking orders and constantly interrupt you throughout your evening. The service badly lets it down.
What Ever You Want
This was by far the worst dining experience i have ever encountered in my life. The service from the staff was so unprofessional.
I traveled up from Norfolk on the Saturday to enjoy a night out with my partner and we were both very upset by what we had both seen. we waited 2 and a half hours for our food to even come out and the waiter that was serving us just did not have a clue as to what he was doing. 3 couples on other tables around us were complaining about the service. at 1 stage as a customer was complaining i watched 1 of the waiters blaitently pick his nose and flick it on the floor. Honestly do not even enter this place it's a total health hazard. and a disaster area.

My Partner and I both agreed this was by far the best restaurant of its kind we had visited. The menu was extensive with many variations of regional dishes. The venison cooked with chillis and tomato was fantastic! The food overall was well presented and the staff very attentive. At £73 being the total cost for two (including £23 for a bottle of Chablis) I considered this good value for the location. I will be returning.
