have been to the watermead quite a few times on quiz night.Think the carvery is excellent and extremely good value for money

the carvery i find good but plain, but the chicken in sauce was absolutely beautiful, and the melt in the middle chocolate pudding is to die fore, prices very good as well, i wish they had a dish where you had a choice of sauces to have with any dish you order, well worth a visit.

Just had lunch at The Watermead - never again!!
The food was luke warm, very small portions and over priced. When asked if we enjoyed our meal, we said not really and to be honest no one gave a dam. I certainly won't be eating or recommending them to anyone in the future.
