Can't stand cafes and restaurants that get used as places for people that want to make a quick quid, selling stuff, don't go there. It's a nuisance being there while people flog cosmetics.

Think you will find that the cafe is shut during the hours used to help promote local businesses Skippy.

Don't mix this great cafe on the promenade that is actually at the Waters Edge with great views across the sea that serves delicious homemade scones, burgers, lasagne etc with the pub of the same name where you have to wait about an hour for food!!! And is no where near the sea.

FANTASTIC home made scones!!! Breathtaking views with extremely friendly staff. Clean modern cafe with a good range of well priced home made food. Going to try home made burgers on my next visit!

Ordered one child's meal - sausage, chips and beans that cost £3:00. Was eventually served 55 minutes later. Complained to staff after 30 minutes and was made to feel like I had landed from another planet. Cafe did not appear to be busy - it's no wonder! Thankfully my husband and I had not ordered food otherwise the lunch would have been served for tea. The coffees and soft drink were supplied after purchase, that was no problem, but should you require food give this place a wide berth.

i took my daughter to this cafe for a bite to eat and decided to sit on the balcony facing the sea. i enjoyed their traditional fish 'n' chips meal whilst my daughter had a jacket potato with tuna filling. Absolutely delicious!
We sat there chatting till sunset, which from this view is a definite must see experience...
