This restaurant has been recommended to me many times, so I thought I would see for myself. The main course and vegetables were delicious, but I was disappointed with the duck starter, which felt overpriced for the amount of duck you received. The restaurant and bar area are cosy, but I was surprised that some things appeared slightly shabby - maybe this is supposed to be shabby chic, but the big rip in my chair was a bit off putting. Overall it is a very atmospheric restaurant, and the food quality is good, but the starter was overpriced.

Have been many times. Highly recommended, roast beef on Sundays with all the trimmings is truly wonderful the menu is regularly changed with local produce and you can? really go wrong here. Try it. You wont be disappointed.
