Very unusual place - an underground bar in a converted wine cellar, which opens up into a very nice, modern restaurant. (Located just off Princess St, by House of Frazer) Perfect for an after-work drink with friends or book a table to eat and drink in very relaxed surroundings (big bonus for me was that they show football on TV screens but without sound - my partner could keep an eye on the score without it ruining the conversation).
Food is good and local (oysters, amazing-looking fishcakes, seafood platters etc) and the wine list is fabulous but not over-priced (between £16 - £30 per bottle and the higher priced bottles are really good wines).
It's not fine dining but the location, atmosphere and good food make it a really relaxed, fun night out.
