Was just ok, the food wasn't as good as previously visited and the decor needs overhauling. I felt uncomfortable as the atmosphere was dull the service would have been nice with a smile. I will not be eating here again

The Whittakers Arms is a Family run pub which is warm and friendly atmosphere if your a regular customer or a new customer. The food is fantastic, homemade honest fayre, made to order. Everytime I have eaten there the service as been great the staff can't do enough for you and the food as been hot and thoroughly enjoyable. Well worth a visit!!!!

Although the Whittakers Arms is not the worst meal i've had, it would be fair to say it was close. on the up side the staff are very pleasant and friendly.
