I’m not the greatest fan of Sunday Lunch generally as it tends to be a bit of a bunfight rather than a relaxing way to bring the weekend to a close. This was very different and I may even be a convert! The White Tower has great views out over Blackpool promenade, an upmarket feel, plenty of space between the tables, very good staff, chilled music and was really good value too, just £19.95 for two courses. I had the Broccoli and Stilton soup to start and Roast Beef with Yorkshires for the main course. Across the table the Ham hock in mustard sauce got rave reviews. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

The views from here are fabulous and the White Tower has always had a really plush feel to it. A touch of Vegas, maybe. Great food and service and just a shame that it’s not more well known, despite being a Blackpool institution for so many years now.

When in Blackpool we always have Sunday lunch at the White Tower.
Highly recommend if you are in the area. My son had his wedding reception there and other son his engagement party.
Service excellent. Food extremely good. Ambience excellent.
We will be there again Sept. Had to cancel last time due to kids suddenly coming down with noro virus the night before. No kids this time round.
Looking forward to seeing the boys again Jay and Matthew.

I went with 6 of my family to the White Tower for my Dad's birthday on 9th April. including my 3 year old daughter. We had the Sunday lunch menu which was had a great choice of food. Though we all went for the roast beef dinner which was amazing! So much better quality than all of the local carveries or pubs in the area and better value for money. My daughter loved her smaller portion of the roast dinner too (which was free!) such a great offer.
Such a lovely restaurant with great views - always nice and warm and comfortable. Great service as well.

I was surprised how good the White Tower was. The family had Sunday lunch. The food was top notch. Service a bit slow, but all in all I would recommend and return.

I went to the White Tower at the weekend for a party that had a trip to the Ice Show at the Pleasure Beach sandwiched in between the main course and dessert. Have to say that both the show and the restaurant were a revelation. Last time I went to the ice show must have been 30-odd years ago and now they have an international cast and a really impressive show. The section with the bath towards the end was fab! And as for the White Tower, it's a really plush and elegant restaurant. And then there's the view which along with the Beach House in the town centre has to be the best of any Blackpool venue. Not sure it's even open though to the general public now, other than possible summer weekends which is a real shame.

Went to the White Tower for a private function last Saturday evening and came away thinking what a shame it is that this place no longer opens as a normal restaurant. It really does have the potential to be one of Blackpool's top, top venues. It's got the glamorous entrance (by lift), the wonderful views (especially at twilight during the Illuminations), the plush decor, well-trained staff and good food. In fact all the elements are pretty much in place - with the investment of a little time and money - to make this a real destination venue. I could see it being brought up to Michelin-star standard which would be great for Blackpool and great for the Pleasure Beach too.

This used to be one of my favourite restaurants on the Fylde Coast, so I was delighted to see it reopening for special occasions, however, when I called to book my family in for Mother's Day, I was stunned to find that they wanted full payment upfront!? I asked why, the person I spoke to told me that this was their policy now. This means also deciding now (some six weeks before Mother's Day) whether my family wanted 2 or 3 courses? Needless to say, I'm looking to book elsewhere. Is this normal now, for restaurants to ask for payment in advance?
