Wilf’s Cafe is a friendly cafe and outside catering business located in Staveley Mill Yard, between Kendal and Windermere in the Lake District. Difficult to find and not obvious even when you get into The Mill Yard, Wilf's Café deserves to be found for all sorts of reasons. It’s based in the old Bobbin Loft with some of the old line workings still in place, with traditional seating plus a cosy sofa area inside as well as decking overlooking the River Kent for warmer days. Wilf’s offers great breakfasts, daily specials including meaty, veggie and fishy dishes, home-made cakes and afternoon teas. All good wholesome, value-for-money meals that are all cooked on the premises. Local ingredients and specialities are used including free range eggs from a local farm. Much more than a Café, Wilf’s is available to hire in the evening for all sorts of functions, private dinners, parties, AGMs and presentations. They can also provide a buffet at your own venue for all sorts of occasions and celebrations.  And if you are just having a get together with some friends and don't feel like cooking, try the "Wilf's Away" meals in eight portion sizes, ready to just pop in the oven. Wilf’s is open seven days a week from 9am to 5pm and with plenty of parking, it's worth the search!
