Have had family gatherings on many occasions at Willowpool. This is one of my fave places to eat and just BE! Think we have gone through the menu from beginning to end at one stage or another. Can say we have never had a bad experience eating at Willowpool, the service can be a bit slow if they are busy, just be prepared for that and you wont be disappointed. The food is served on delightful crockery, must say love toasted snacks, jacket potatoes, Sunday lunches, Dutch meat balls, but desserts are by far the must haves {be prepared as one if often enough for two} The outside eating has got to be experienced in the thatched gazebo's with heated lamps. Christmas inside the tea room is magical, i have never been any where that has delighted me so much at this time of year, with it's ceiling just dripping CHRISTMAS! So folks that's just the tea rooms. The whole Willowpool experience is for me is unbeatable, some people have said " one of the strangest places I have been" For me " the most magical" I shall be visiting over the Christmas period many time's as I am addicted. have convinced my Grandchildren Fairies live there. ENJOY!

I went with my son to show my Canadian daughter-in law how quirky we English can be!!. We ate off the special Sunday menu and were not disappointed. Having been several times before friends and I have always enjoyed on the varied menu and because of the variety my daughter -in -law who is wheat intolerant was find to more than one choice with a little adaptation and help from the kitchen,.One little moan ....I know you were busy Easter Sunday but despite asking again I never got my coffee after a 35 minute wait we left - from table 2 I could see it being made !!!
But I will come again I like it too much not to.

This must be the best kept secret. This is a garden centre of sorts. There is everything here. Old victorian "Prams" to new "Antiques" A lake with ducks. Its brilliant. After walking round dine "Alfresco" in one of the old showmans stalls, double glazed and heated by a patio heater, or in one of the " niches" for 4 also heated. The starters range from £4.35 to £4.95 smoked salmon cornucopie or black pudding "Tian" Try the "Barni" a Dutch/indonesian dish with noodles "Barni" or " Nasi" rice. its absolutely great. The servings are Ginormous the dutch sausage (3) was a great plateful. Unfortunatley only wine is served no beer. Sunday lunch available on Sundays only. Puddings are a bit expensive. I would imagine you have to get in here early & even earlier in summer. Its "Brilliant"
