Ooh I love it here. Great Chinese food and it seems to be the haunt of footy players from United and City.

Had a great meal at Wings last night. One hell of a Chinese restaurant.

Sorry to be negative about this restaurant, and this is the first time for me, but I have to say that I feel this place is a complete rip off. When we arrived, the staff were very attentive, however they must have a pretty short span of attention. Once we were seated at 8 pm and had ordered, the food arrived and I must say we all were pretty non-plussed by the standard. We had chosen the more expensive of the two 'banquets'. This began with a scallop dish served with angel hair noodles which were swimming with a flavoured oil which totally masked the taste of the scallop. The next course was lobster which was overcooked and again the sauce was far too highly flavoured and the lobster may as well have been cod! The main courses were forgettable and small - the four of us left still peckish. While we were eating our mains and sweets, the staff were wheeling in and out tables and we felt very unwelcome. The bill exceeded £300 (we did have a fair few drinks) for four people and we left wishing we had gone elsewhere. I know this restaurant is frequented by footballers and Corrie celebs. They must have small brains and big wallets!

Went to Wings as we were going to the Ricky Hatton fight at the City of Manchester stadium. Restaurant was pretty full to say it was 5pm. Food was outstanding. I loved all the little touches like putting the dim sum on your plate for you. They even made our duck pancakes at the side of our table for us. Food was amazing and service was even better. Will definitely be going back. The best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Although it cost more than most Chinese restaurants I have been to it was well worth it for all the finishing touches. We went here because we were looking for a restaurant that was open late in the evening as we were going after a show at the Arena and we were made to feel very welcome even though it was late and we were the last ones in there. No effort was made to rush us out. I will definitely go again when wanting to eat late after concerts.

The more you visit Wings.....the more you will want to go again!! This is my absolute favourite restaurant......not only in Manchester, but ANYWHERE. Each time is like the first time, I never tire of Wings....even if I visit once a week. The food is second to none and the staff...........they make you feel SO special. I take friends, neighbours and colleagues on a fairly regular basis and the verdict is ALWAYS..........FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!
I love it.....keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!

We went as a group of 4 on a Saturday night.
The restaurant is close to Albert Square and is in a good location for pedestrians but if you're trying to find a parking space nearby on a weekend you'll need to get there early.
Our friends booked a table 8 weeks prior and were asked for a deposit to secure the booking.
The food was good but the choices were about the same as any other Chinese restaurant in Manchester. The prices are considerably more than in China Town. A bottle of beer cost £4 .
The restaurant is clean and the service is good.
I would go back to this restaurant.

I haven't been to many Chinese restaurants but out of the ones that I have been to, this is the best one. Everything about it was superb. The quality of the food, the friendliness of the staff and the restaurant environment were first rate. I could not afford to go regularly but I will go when I can. Fantastic!
