I have eaten at the the Woodstock twice. Once before and after the recent refurb and both times have been disappointed. We ordered two burgers with chips and horseradish sauce, and a sausage bap with onion rings. The food took a long time to arrive and was not worth the money at all. The salad on all 3 was old and wilted , the horseradish sauce was not horseradish, appeared to be mayonnaise with chopped up garlic and onion. The portions of chips were small, the bread buns of all 3 were dry and the onion rings were soggy. Nice for a drink but don't go for food.

This is a nice place if you fancy some decent pub grub. All the usual favourites - burger and chips, lasagne, scampi but also with a few different items such as singapore noodles and fish dishes. Good prices - around £6.00 for a meal, good size portions and decent food - just dont expect a gastro-pub !
