We visited Iris on 9/10, for Sunday lunch and were very impressed. The roast was of an excellent standard, traditional and home made. (None of this bought in nonsense that you get nowadays elsewhere). Good sized portions, meant we were more than full, but i saved enough room for one of there home-made dessert, which are to die for!!, especially the baileys cheesecake (yum!). The place is more than worthy of a visit, as you are made to feel, very welcome by there friendly staff. Great value for money Thanks once again

Recently visited last weekend, just in time for launch of new menu! The menu has a great variety of choices, and suits all tastes and pallets! There is a full separate vegetarian menu, and also an outstanding ala Carte menu, with each dish being individually created to order! The desserts are to tempting to resist! 2 courses were just £9.95. Service also very friendly and efficient! Will be back soon!

Always an excellent meal, never lets you down as your guaranteed a consistent high quality evening. One shame is that the young pleasant waiter Richard (I think!) has now left. But the service is still of a good standard.

AN OUTSTANDING MEAL AND GREAT TIME HAD BY ALL, THE CHEF MAKES WONDERFUL CREATIONS OF MODERN BRITTISH CLASSICS, SERVICE BY YOUNG CHAP CALLED RICHIE EXCELLENT VERY PLEASENT, LOOK OUT FOR THE JAZZ BAND EVERY SATURDAY NIGHT, GREAT TIME HAD BY ALL. GIVE IT A GO!
