As an Aussie on a 9 hour wander around the Dales from Haworth to Ponden Hall and all around, on the way back to Haworth where I was staying it was great to come across The Wuthering Heights Inn when I was feeling like a good meal after almost 6 hours walking. Having ordered a Ploughmans Lunch and finding that one of the best red wines they had was an Australian Shiraz I went out the back to wait for my food to be served and then I felt right at home. With an Aussie red in my hand I sat down under two great big Fosters unbrellas to shade me from the Yorkshire sun - almost home sweet home!
Thank you Wuthering Heights Inn - it was good food, great wine and wonderful shade and ambience.

Called into the Wuthering on my way through Stanbury. What a delight!.. A good, old traditional pub with fantastic ales and superb food, which I can highly recommend. Serves both at the bar and in the restaurant were excellent. Will definitely be making a return journey!!
