About Yr Hen Printworks
Yr Printworks in Cardigan is a small plates restaurant with a Michelin Bib Gourmand and a listing in the Good Food Guide’s ‘100 Best Local Restaurants’. It’s housed in the town’s historic Old Hope Chapel which dates back to 1837 and was for 30 years the printworks for the local newspaper. The building retains many of its original features, including the original gates and chimney bricks, and the Welsh oak beams come from the nearby family farm. A mezzanine floor has also been added to take advantage of the light from the full-length windows. Yr Printworks in open Wednesday to Saturday evenings serving a small plates menus based firmly on the best Welsh produce available from small local suppliers in Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.
