Brilliant restaurant, booked for 12 ppl, only 9 of us turned up due to snow!!!! Staff were very accommodating, food fantastic -my 40th birthday and they gave me a glass of champers and even hid a cake and brought it out lit with sparklers...so so great in Zizzi, Exeter 10/10 Definitely visit again

Took my girlfriend here before a night out, the service was good but a little slow, perhaps our own fault for not booking. The food was better than I expected after hearing it was a UK chain restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the outside garden in the middle of a heat wave was the perfect place to have your evening meal. Not the best place to eat in Exeter, but I will be going back.

Zizzi's is lovely! Had a fab evening there, I am veggie and the waiter recommended a lovely pasta dish for me. My partner said their 'meat balls' were the best he'd ever had!...the staff were really helpful and friendly. Not expensive considering how great the food and service is. Planning to go again very soon!
Zizzi Restaurant
Every time I visit Zizzi's I find something else to love about it... this time it was the willingness to do anything to make my sisters 18th meal out a great success. Nothing was a problem and the staff were a treat. It is so rare to go out be served by people who genuinely seem to enjoy being there and to actually take part in conversations and make us laugh rather than dragging their feet off and moaning... The food was perfect, even the simplest dishes are given the utmost care and attention. I have never found a dish that I thought could have been better and the portions are amazing... My favourite dish would have to be the Clarissa... Admittedly i could go on about this place for ever... I love it

Zizzi Restaurant
Now I am not a fan of pizza houses but Zizzi's in Exeter is more than that. Against all my better judgment I am also not a huge fan of national chains unless they have a very good product you can always rely on. Zizzis has all of this I feel. I eat at Zizzi's regularly and its main outstanding features are its ambience: warming, cosy and intimate even with such a large space. The trademark oven with chefs cooking infront of you is always a comfort and distraction if your food is taking a while (which it never has). The staff are very friendly and do give a genuine impression of caring for their customers. As a red wine drinker, the wine list humbling, even their house red. Their food is made very well and the portions are generous. I normally eat the Capriciossa pizza with rocket side salad and the large house Merlot. Again, it is pizza and pasta but done in a way that doesn't scream turnstile. I would recommend it to anyone and look forward to my next time there.
Zizzi Restaurant
We were a bit worried by the fact there was an advert for chefs in the window, but hey how can you get a pizza wrong. The waiting staff were brilliant and made it easy for us to spend more. The Pizzas we had were as good as it gets, crispy, thin bases with generous high quality toppings. The wine I had could have been better but after all most chains buy cheap. Our only moan was having to deal with a surly, bored and rude manager when we paid.
