This was a dreadful eating experience. I went with a large mixed party and there were over 20 of us but although we had booked well in advance it took over an hour for our starter to arrive. Although the Kalamari that i ordered was nice it was nothing special and there was not a lot for the £4.95 that it cost although it was attractively served in a little silver pail.
The penne della casa was just bacon chicken mushroom and spinach mingling with some overbaked around the edges penne pasta and was absolutely swimming in olive oil. It was bland and boring even with loads of parmesan cheese grated over the top. Other diners were complaining about the pizza (or lack of it) : the toppings were none existent and the base boring, tough and uninspiring. Not a good eating experience and I would not recommend visiting.
