Zorba The Greek in Chelmsford is an intimate Greek taverna close by the railway station. It seats just 30 diners and is decked out in traditional style with blue-and-white checked tablecloths and vines hanging from the ceiling. Open Wednesday to Sunday evenings (and for Sunday lunch), the menu has something to suit all tastes ranging from the classic Moussaka to freshly made Souvlaki (marinated charcoal-cooked Pork, Lamb, Chicken), Kalamari (Fried Squid) and the refreshing Horiatiki (Greek Salad) with Feta Cheese and Greek Olives. The Special Meze for minimum two people is a real Greek feast and gives you the chance to try lots of different dishes. Zorba The Greek is fully licensed and takeaway and collection are 10% off the main menu prices.
