Delish!!! lovely Italian food and perfect for a romantic evening out with someone special

we got to the restaurant at 7pm and it was empty felt a bit odd but staff were very friendly and welcoming. I was really looking forward to going to Zucca as I have heard great things but i'm sorry to say - the food was very average. I wouldn't go back there again. I have eaten in one of the sister restaurants and it was amazing but Zucca didn't do it for me or my husband - we had 2 different starters and 2 different mains and none of them were particularly nice.

Very over rated and over priced for steak and chips. Very limited menu, would not call it an Italian. Not what we were expecting, very disappointed, Expected more authentic italian cuisine. We wanted a nice romantic italian meal for 2 and ended up with an over priced, average, pub meal.

Absolutely gorgeous. We were SO impressed. There was a bit of a muddle up with our booking but they looked after us while we waited and made sure we were attended to. They really were fab and to top it all off the food was outstanding! Top marks from my husband and I. we can't wait to go back!

Have been here twice now and on both occasions everything was fantastic! The food was superb, the service was first class and the ambience was wonderful! If you've not been yet, make sure you go soon because before long, everyone will know about this place! 5 *****

We found Zucca though the recommendations on sugarvine.com, so we had high hopes, and they were surpassed. The food was excellent, the location was great. The only thing was that we were so early that the restaurant was empty, so the atmosphere wasn't what is could be, but I'm sure at other times it would be packed. I was pleased to discover my new favourite Italian restaurant!

T.G.F.Z thank god for Zucca! Italian food being one of the greatest cuisine in the world and the lack of a good one in Plymouth until we discovered Zucca ! And what a setting for such an incredible restaurant. I hope not many people find out about this gem of a place. Great food and no sign of spaghetti Bolognese, great service and magical ambience.

I'm amazed that one of the classiest Italian restaurants in Plymouth hasn't been reviewed yet. I think that the service was not what you would get in the top top restaurants in London, but very good for Plymouth. Such a shame that not everywhere provides a wine ice bucket when you buy a bottle of wine. Zucca does on the other hand, and gets my repeat business quite often.
