the a la carte restaurant is impressive; tasty food, well presented etc. however, the pizzeria can only be described as dissappointing. poor, slow service, letchy wiaters, a long wait and food which doesnt live up to the restaurants reputation. a fine location, the function room is wonderful; and food in there absolutely fantastic. as for the pizzeria; give it a miss, spend a few more pennies and enjoy a real meal downstairs in the a la carte bit

i was just looking on the internet for a place to eat tonight, and i noticed that nobody has put a rating on the alpine. I can honestly say i had one of the best meals ever at the alpine. i think it was around £12.00 a head for the carvery, and it was fantastic. they also had some lovley house wine at the time. i would recommend eating at the alpine to anyone. i can promise they would not be disappointed

Excellent, the food was divine and the people there were very friendly. I would recomend it to all groups of people.

We have visited the Pizzeria at the Bella Vista on numerous occasions, never to be disappointed. Great choice of either Pizzas or more substantial main courses and a great atmosphere.

The decor would not suit everyones taste, but when I go for a meal, my main priority is the quality of the food, if decor was my main concern Id take a packed lunch to IKEA !! The food served up by TV chef Andrew Nutter (always in the kitchen when Ive been) is fantastic, Its a bit pricey but worth every penny !!

An outstanding restaurant, with an excellent choice of menu. To try a selection of specialities I recommend the gourmet surprise menu option, six delicious courses - but you won't know what you will get until it arrives!
