The atmosphere here is very relaxed and new social distancing measures gives it an even more relaxing and private atmosphere. Adapted very well to new restrictions and felt safe the whole time. Loved it.

Fairview Inn – RochdaleFab carvery - lots of it! Great value for money. Impressed with the social distancing measures that were in place. Will definitely go again.
Fairview Inn – RochdaleFantastic food, great staff. Will definitely be back.
Fairview Inn – RochdaleAlways had problems in the past with speed of service so we tended to have the carvery food which has always been excellent. With the reopening we thought we would try food from the menu. 3 of us had different meals and all were well presented hot and food was excellent. Service was a big improvement on previous visits hopefully that will continue.
Fairview Inn – RochdaleBooked a table for my dads 73rd birthday we’d we called to make sure all was okay the day before we were told they were closed for a refit!!! God job we Checked as no email or call to let us know!!!

Fairview Inn – RochdaleHere is a copy of a letter I sent to the CEO of Martin's Pubs, Clubs & Restaurants. "On the 25th February, I booked a table at The Fair View for Sunday, 1st March at 7:00pm, for 3 people. I had booked using the online booking facility, and included in the reservation notes that “One member of our party is a wheelchair user” – see attached email confirmation. We arrived at the establishment at 18:55, only to be told on seeing that my wife was in a wheelchair, that the table reserved for us was upstairs, and that there were no other tables available. I pointed out that I had made the reservation online, and had included the note about our wheelchair user, to which was the reply that “we don’t get to see what’s on the online reservation bookings, and that in future, I should telephone to book!” – what nonsense!! Quite apart from the staff being less than sympathetic or helpful, what is the point of having an online booking facility which is never seen by the staff at the establishment. Is that really how it works? However, despite our protestations, we were turned away without any help or apology. We are an elderly group of people, who were looking forward to an infrequent treat, a nice quiet meal , which culminated in our returning home, extremely upset and disappointed! I would respectfully suggest that your systems or your staff need to be changed, or maybe both if this is the result. Perhaps you would be kind enough to let me have your thoughts and comments? Yours faithfully" I DOUBT WE WILL WE RETURNING - WATCH THIS SPACE. By the way, we have been quite a number of times in the past.
Fairview Inn – RochdaleWe really enjoyed our meals (two carvery dinners, one vegetarian, and two options of the main menu) at the Fairview Inn. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for money.
Fairview Inn – Rochdaledissapointed, food was quite good, 30 mins late the carvery, not enough staff, had to wait 25 mins for coffee, very poor communication. cramped seating,
Fairview Inn – RochdaleSorry for the bad review. Came here on Valentine’s Day booked a table for 19:00. We arrived and for some reason another couple was sat at our table, with there Valentine’s Day balloon and candle and red cover. We was then placed on a plane table no balloon decorations nothing so that was wrong and a bit depressing as it was Valentine’s Day. The food however was good, can’t complain about that.
Fairview Inn – RochdaleWe arrived at 5.45 for our reservation at 6pm, we were told our table number and left to find it on our own. Would have been good practice to be taken to our table. The order was taken straight away but it was 45minutes before our starters arrived, have to say the starters were good. We then waited and waited for our main meals, after about 30 mins the waitress came and asked us to confirm if we had had our starters as the kitchen for some reason had done them again? A man then came over and said our mains were now being cooked, this was now another 30mins or so later, he did compensate us with a drink each on the house. Still we waited and eventually the mains arrived. My husband had the peri peri chicken and it was awful, it had been flattened that much it was the thickness of a piece of cardboard, they had over cooked it so much that it was inedible, and in places black where burnt, his peas were like bullets needless to say he left it. I had rag pudding and it was bland, looked like and tasted like a frozen processed pudding not very appetising. When we came to pay the man asked us if everything ok to which we replied not really and explained why to which he replied I don’t know what’s happening because there were 5 of them in the kitchen. We thought after reopening that there would have been an improvement all round sadly mistaken. We will not be going back
Fairview Inn – RochdaleExcellent food and service
Fairview Inn – RochdaleFantastic food and service can not fault it will definitely be back
Fairview Inn – RochdaleThe food was excellent and good value for money, however the service was very poor, whilst wiring for the carvery, no chef in attendance yet two kitchen staff hastily preparing Just eat delivery service meals, after the queue increased eventually a clearly under pressure last came to carve the meats, after a considerable wait for the carved meat we were then met by another wait for fresh vegetables only to be hijacked again by the Just eat brigade. Customers were talking about the poor service back at their tables, some even vowing to go elsewhere, not a good advert despite the good food.
Fairview Inn – RochdaleWe came for breakfast, it was very nice with lots of choice, the only let down was the coffee
Fairview Inn – RochdaleWe were a party of 7 we went for breakfast very nice and plenty to choose from staff were very nice
Fairview Inn – RochdaleFood took over an hour to arrive and then was burnt and not fit for purpose. Beef on the sizzler nearly broke my teeth it was that hard. Glasses left stacking on the table instead of taking them when they brought fresh drinks. Asked for vinegar twice but didn’t get any. Went to pay and the lady walked off. Shocking food, disinterested staff and appalling service. Won’t be back
