Hafez Restaurant – Salelovely family restaurant, we found by accident, fresh flavors, home cooked - good value, I had Lamb shank meat just melted in my mouth really enjoyed, will return.
Hafez Restaurant – SaleBad service but food was ok would not be my first choice in sale, they need to work on service a lot.
Jitrada Thai Restaurant – SaleGood food but service very poor the food was just thrown out main and starter together ruined my night out wont be going again neither should you
Jitrada Thai Restaurant – SaleWe used to love the place but over recent months service has been really awful. Last three visits, we did not find the place as friendly and last time we had takeaway there was a mistake in our order (overpaid) but when I called back, I was told it was all my fault and not even a single word of appreciation of our problem was given. Actually we were expecting just an apology but none was offered. Food was still nice but we are not going back again. What a shame.
Choy Hing Village – SaleLovely place to grab some great Persian food locally. Small menu but good choice and really tasty, good portions. Not expensive and very relaxed, cafe/restaurant feel. Nice polite, friendly service!
Hafez Restaurant – SaleAte here was lovely best fish chips where nice my girlfriend had a chicken kebab was top food and would go again spot on
Theo’s Fish and Chip – SaleEvening visit for a drink, first time since it reopened. Seems to run for the benefit of the bar staff and their mates. Poor service and short pints. Tables left for ages with empty glasses and crisp packets. TV set blaring everywhere but nobody watching them.
The Moorfield – SaleBeen in there the last 3 Sunday's and it is great! the kids love it and the staff are really helpful! we had the turkey Sunday dinner 2 for £10 today and it was great, just what we needed in this area a great family pub at last!!
The Moorfield – Salemoorfeild is a great pub, and is now my LOCAL!
The Moorfield – SaleI've visited 3 times now with the most recent being this week and I would recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly. The staff are very welcoming and attentive; the chef in particular is a delight (he gave a party of 10 women a glass of baileys each as one of had a birthday, which was a lovely touch) and for the most part the food is very good with very fresh ingredients being used (for example the dips that come with the poppadoms are superior to that served in most Indian restaurants I have visited) and very reasonably priced. I don't usually eat lamb or beef at Indian restaurants, as it is often tough but here the meat falls apart at the touch and is delicious. The mild sauces can be a bit too mild for my liking and lack some flavour as a result but all the other sauces I have tried have been very flavoursome and tasty. Only the duck disappointed, on one occasion, as it was rather fatty. Overall I would say this is one of the best Indian Restaurants in Sale and I would strongly recommend it.
Zumar – SaleThis is one of my favourite restaurants. The Sunday Banquet is Ideal for family get-togethers and fantastic value. The a la carte is fantastic no matter what you choose. I've worked in the Far East and eaten in all sorts of restaurants over there, Jitrada has always been and is still authentic; I say this in the knowledge that it is now run by non Thai owners. I've been twice in the last three weeks and it was brilliant.
Jitrada Thai Restaurant – SalePoor food, slow service. When I go out for a meal albeit an 'early diner' at a not so cheap £12 for 2 courses I expect for better quality in both service and food quality. I ordered chicken kebab for my main course. This consisted of a salad (ok) poorly cooked and presented rice and 5 pieces of chicken not on a skewer with a piece oe a pepper which had adhered to the chicken, was this one of yesterdays salvaged meals. I would have gone to town on them but I was in company and did not want to upset one of my guests who was in quite a fragile state. Instead I have chosen to write this review. Incidentally they were short staffed because people had come in without booking. My recommendation is not to go with or without a booking.
Sokrates Taverna – SaleSuperb food staff excellent
Forts Of Bengal – SaleGreat midweek carvery and a fantastic menu.
The Bulls Head – Saletry jacksons pie shop at the pub the pies are exceptional, and u cant beat the fish and chips.well worth the money
Jackson’s Boat – SaleLiterally the BEST Indian food I have ever eaten. Everything is made fresh and the chef comes to your table and asks about your preferences so he can cater the dish to your liking. Fantastic!
Zumar – Salequality foods plenty of variety on the menu . clean and tidy .the staff were pleasant and friendly the drinks were nicely chilled . prices are reasonable . just need a little more space its quite cramped . if you can cope with the little space you have then i would recommend a visit
Neel Paneer – Sale
