The Wellbank Inn – DundeeStopped in here Tuesday 17th Nov. 2015. First impression was of cleanliness and warmth. We were greeted by a lovely young lady who showed us to a table of our choice (conservatory) and asked immediately if we were warm enough or would we require the heating turned up.....lovely! We were then brought drinks of our choice and delivered menus. We chose lasagne and chilli which turned out to be absolutely delicious.....thank you chef! This establishment also offer a "seniors" menu on a Thursday. A little trip into the countryside and to be treated as well by the staff is exactly what we seniors look for, I believe! Thank you so much and look forward to seeing you again very soon!
The Wellbank Inn – DundeeCame here on 30th May 2015 to celebrate friends Anniversary. The meal was fantastic and service was great would highly recommend this place to all my family and friends. x
Park House Hotel – DundeeBeware of reheated chips at opening time ! Any other time food is excellent. Shame they do that to save waste. It kills a good name.
The Victor Fish Bar – DundeeDavie, who runs the bar is a smashing lad, but unfortunately his pub has gone right downhill, he's lost a top bar man in Jamie and failed to recognise his loss, he's filled it with girls who lack the charisma required to make a bar work, and the standard of the beer has gone downhill, other bars in Broughty Ferry are better than this pub I'm afraid, Davie the owner has other interests now it seems and his pub is in decline, was a good pub now not a place I'd go to in a hurry, advise avoid.
DOC Ferry’s Bar – DundeeIf you are looking for a great fish and chip shop this is the one to order from. Generous portions of tastey fresh fish and chips all at a reasonable price. One Happy eater out of loads of them
Mordente’s Takeaway – DundeeThis shop holds a Fish and Chip Quality Award from the National Federation of Fish Fryers. You can be sure of the quality of the product and service in this shop.
The Silvery Tay – DundeeThis shop holds the National Federation of Fish Friers Quality Award for it s fish and chips. You can be assured of the quality of the product and service in this shop.
The Silvery Tay – DundeeI first ate here with my new partner on our first date in Dundee on her recommendation and my eyes were opened to the joys of Mexican food. I had strips of swordfish interlaced with strips of beef steak in a delicious tomato and pepper sauce. The staff were fabulous and friendly and the cosy atmosphere a pleasure to sit and relax in.... I eat here every time I visit Dundee and would recommend it to anyone for a great dining experience - keep it up guys and gals ;~)
Rancho Pancho – DundeeLovely authentic Indian food with an excellent choice...Large Nan breads and excellent value for money. As this is an unlicensed restaurant you can take as much of your own alcohol as with last your company's visit. Nice staff, polite and courteous. I am a regular now. Highly recommended.
Buena música, comida y, cómo no, cerveza. Gracias desde Tenerife.

Manzil Tandoori Restaurant – DundeeI have to say that i would NOT recommend this restaurant. The service is poor, management is unfriendly and very often rude. I continued going despite the above because I enjoyed ONE meal on menu selection. I went today and the menu had changed Nov 2009. That is all well and good, their prerogative BUT it did not reflect that anywhere on the menu. My Child's meal came out with the wrong side on the plate, and he is allergic! Sides we asked to hold off the adult platters were left on the plate, and part of our beverage selection was forgotten and we finally got brought out halfway thru the meal. My Dining Companion asked if the staff member serving us was new, and I had to sadly state, "No". A very nice girl, but not very service oriented. The store itself looks cheap with all the hand made paper signs with magic marker pricing. It negates from the decor that had been redone when it was switched over from the previous owners. Although a little dark, the environment does appear to be welcoming. Today, the meal item ordered had been replaced with something that would make a fast food chain meal look like a 4 star meal. When questioned about whether there had been a change in menu... management rudely came over and no apologies. (including for any other problems that we are used to having such as wrong sides with the meals, no napkins or other simple requests being filled.) They changed from real meat to a pre-formed portion of meat that I am not even sure was meat however, the price was the same as if I had real meat. I could have bought something that would have looked better from a bargain grocery store for a pound instead of being charged over 8gbp! When asked if I wanted my receipt, I said "Yes, I need the information to post a review!" (polite but snarky on my part I admit, but I was hoping that management would realize that you should treat every customer with respect, and a welcoming attitude because that alone can often make up for any dissatisfaction!) The manager asked me what I meant and I informed that I intended to post my experience online. I was then told that I would not be welcome back! Hmmm, an interesting way to help their business prosper! Rather than apologize for an inferior dining experience and discuss what could have happened to make our meal better... just tell the customer to not come back! I am not sure how much longer they will be around! Customer Service and Simple Attention to detail goes a LONG way. Inflexibility, Poor Communication, Rude Attitude and Low Quality Food leave a BAD TASTE in my mouth.
