Giffnock Ivy The – GlasgowWe always use this restaurant for special occasions. My ten year old son loves it
China Palace The – EdinburghEverything about our experience was...not bad. There was really nothing special about it despite the raving reviews we'd seen. The fish soup starter contained one prawn dumpling that had tasted as if it had gone off, the food was brought out too quickly, and in fact our lingering over the starters meant that our main courses were served on excruciatingly hot plates and the fish on them was a bit tired out from a heat lamp. I got a 7 pm reservation after being told the restaurant was too busy for me to have an 8 pm booking, but while we were there until 9 pm, the restaurant was not busy at all. The uncovered tables felt a bit greasy. The staff were all very pleasant, but at the prices charged and the lack of flair in the cooking I doubt I will ever visit Gamba again.
Gamba – GlasgowHello! I went there with my mates, we had a great time and we saw some beautiful senoritas!
Garibaldis – Edinburghwould certainly not recommend this restaurant to anyone! the food was atrocious!!! and the staff were diabolical!!!
Cafe Serena – GlasgowWe went out thinking we would enjoy ourselves, my wife and I, but we came away very disappointed. The food was not very well presented, and the service could not care less. We did not leave a tip, and had a better takeaway from a chippie.
Wongs – EdinburghHad a lovely meal in the Mailcoach. Food was tremendous, price was extremely cheap and the service is very friendly. Would highly recommend this for food.
Mailcoach – Glasgowrecommend
Gurkha The – EdinburghReally very good food and some unusual dishes not normally found. Very good service although somewhat pricey. Great modern setting and comfortable with very friendly staff.
Ignite Restaurant – Edinburghvery good location, reasonable decor, incompetent manageress, untrained staff. food standard very dissappointing.
The Flotterstone Inn – Edinburghvery nice place to eat!!! Will come back very soon. John. P.
Giffnock Ivy The – GlasgowMan the Yee Man's curries are pure dead brilliant! Hot as a crotch and just as tasty. Get in there! Delivery often takes ages though- I guess they're too popular?!
Yee Man TakeAway – Glasgowwe waited 25 minutes for drinks that we had ordered and decided to leave. We weren't even asked what we wanted to eat. On walking out the surly youngster who was supposed to be serving us smiled vacantly. We couldn't even find any other staff to complain to. When they know they're going to be busy they should have sufficient TRAINED staff on. Our table was pre-booked. Not at all impressed. (Have marked rating of food as poor but don't know because we never got any!)
The Flotterstone Inn – EdinburghI went here the other day with some of my friends and the food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was great, the staff were so nice and treated us so well. Another thing which I have to mention is that the loos were so clean (I hate a place with horrible loos). The decor in Las Ramblas was great as well everywhere you looked there was something interestingly Spanish. You have got to get along there and try this place because it really is special
Las Ramblas – Glasgowgreat family atmosphere.kids play area an excellent advantage. ideal for karoke night out, ample parking
Ashoka at The Mill – GlasgowWe go to this restaurant regularly and always find the staff pleasant and most importantly the food is excellent and arrives very quickly, you will not be left waiting long! at £4.95 for 2 course lunch it is great quality for low price rarely found in the city centre these days.
China Sea Restaurant – GlasgowHow many of you are always looking for that "cosy little Italian restaurant" that serves good food but isn't too ostentatious and in your face? Well Inca is that restaurant. Excellent food and very reasonably priced. Try the Penne Picanti. The chef will make it as hot or mild as you want. Delicious dish and the best penne pasta I've had in Edinburgh.
Inca – EdinburghLunchtime menu is good and the prices are very reasonable. service was quick. Lamb Madras was very good and unusual. Haggis Pakora sounds very interesting.
