Great food, excellent service. Every bit as good as the Blue Elephant.

Thai Lemon Grass Restaurant – GlasgowClean, well run, extremely good value for money. If you are an experienced taster you will find plenty to tempt your palate. Novice - you will love trying all the different dishes. Extremely good value, attentive staff (without being too overwhelming) and tasteful surroundings. Have been several times - lunchtime as well as evening - always the same. Highly recommended for a budget, buffet style Indian meal.
Bombay Blues – GlasgowWe went to the restaurant with much anticipation, based on a recommendation and its advertisement of its strong Scottish heritage for fine food. The food was in the main good, we had Langoustines for a starter (they didn't smell too fresh, though after some investigation by our Waitress she assured us that they were o.k.), followed by Swordfish with a chilli, and Halibut on a Goat Cheese mash. All of this, accompanied by a tasty French Sauvignon Blanc served by the glass. The fish was cooked to perfection. For sweet we had the baked Alaska, which was fine, but not outstanding. The Bread served with the meal was truly appalling it looked like brown sliced from Tesco’s. Not what we expected for a meal that came to over £60.00.
City Merchant – GlasgowThe best restaurant in Glasgow by far. The food is absolutely delicious. The best thing about the Loon Fung is yum cha/dim sum. Yum cha basically means drink tea and dim sum, roughly translated, means little piece of the heart(or something like that). It is best to go for this meal early (especially on Sunday, when a lot of Chinese people go). Order a pot of tea and ask to see the dim sum menu. Then order one (or more) of each item until you are stuffed. The dishes are the most delicious you will ever taste.
Loon Fung – GlasgowThis is probably the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. The food was first class, and and service vey good. A bit pricey, but worth every penny when the food arrives and you taste the quality. Certainly will be back.
Ho Wong – GlasgowWe had our wedding reception at Konaki last October and it was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners George and Dimitri and Graham who organised everything was an absolute star! The food was amazing! The atmosphere was perfect! I cannot fault this restaurant and can't wait to go back again.
Konaki Greek Taverna – GlasgowI can highly recommend this Restaurant!! One of my favourites, while visiting Glasgow:). The food and service - outstanding! All the mushrooms served with the various meals... all handpicked up in the Highlands. The owner is from Sardinia - very nice Gentleman. Beate H. Banach
Barolo Grill – GlasgowGreat food, people, etc nice place to visit and eat.
Lauriston Farm Brewers Fayre – EdinburghGreat ambience, fantastic value for cost. Strongly recommended
Pasta Fresca – EdinburghThis is Rutherglen's best kept secret. Menu ranges from pizzas to delicious steaks.Nothing is too much trouble for the husband and wife team, most welcoming to all ages.Fillet steak rossini is to die for and at half the cost of city centre restaurants. Drinks are also reasonably priced. The place is very small, but cosy and the food more than compensates for any lack of space.Just a GEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bistro The – GlasgowAmazing
Cail Bruich – GlasgowRelaxed old style country pub with superb food.
The Flotterstone Inn – EdinburghDelicious, authentic thai food. Pleasant & attentive staff. The interior and music create an ambiance that serves as a retreat from the city. Best week-nights when it a little quieter.
Thai Orchid – GlasgowWe meet up there most weekends - great prices in rounds or individually - Food really good and very reasonable - safe, friendly party atmosphere with really friendly staff!!!
Goose The – GlasgowWas great food - one of the best meals that I have had - great attention from the staff and great views over the city - a really smart and stylish place to have dinner - would go back in an instant!
Harvey Nichols 4th Floor Restaurant – EdinburghI would definitely recommend eating here. We ate on a Saturday night with a table of seven. Normally as a veggie, I'm left with unimaginative veggie lasagne or tomato pasta, but here I had a delicious starter of Halloumi cheese and a main course of aubergine baked with cheese and plum tomatoes in the middle and a lentil salad. The chips were separate but a bowl was enough for three people to share and they were thick cut and very good! The service was impeccable and the waitress could not have been more friendly or attentive. The best thing is the stunning decor. It's been redone with gold cherubs and stained glass and makes you feel fancy. Starters around £4 - £5, main course £8 - £10
Sloans Restaurant – GlasgowA tremendously convivial atmosphere awaits anyone wishing to try this cosy restaurant with a real 'local' feel. The service was impeccable, relaxed yet efficient and friendly. The quality of the food was outstanding, amazing choice of fish and great wine. Definitely one I will return to again and again. I can't believe I haven't found it before. An absolute find...!
Sweet Melindas – EdinburghI have been going the Rawalpindi for quite a few years now. It's always been great food, well presented and extremely tasty. The service is very good, attentive staff are always around. Both the buffet and the set menu are great.
