Despite the poor look of the building on the inside. Snooks is well worth a visit. Friendly staff and good food make up for the shortfall in atmosphere.

SJ @ Snooks – GlasgowAn excellent venue with a wide choice of traditional Indian foods, well worth a visit.
Dhabba – GlasgowDon't be decieved by the outside which looks like a closed shop! Go in and you will be pleasantly surprised. Lovely food, lovely waiters, lovely owner, lovely ambiance, good house red. will definitely be back
La Bruschetta – EdinburghWent to one of L'Aragosta's Italian nights, fantastic food and great fun. the live music was brilliant, danced until the early hours. Fantastic idea for a different night out. staff got into the party mood too and joined in the dancing would recommend to anyone who loves all things Italian!!
L Aragosta – GlasgowThis is just the best place I have ever visited. The most hospitable host, excellent food, the most impressive ambience and whole atmosphere.
Aghtamar Lake Van Monastery In Exile – EdinburghGood honest pub grub although a bit pricey. Staff are great and so's the atmosphere. Although it can be a bit too quiet!
Stewartsbar & Grill – EdinburghOwned and operated by butchers so the steaks are very tender and tasty.
McKirdys – EdinburghGood honest pub grub although a bit pricey. Staff are great and so's the atmosphere. Although it can be a bit too quiet!
Stewartsbar & Grill – EdinburghSumptuous food in very pleasant surroundings (ask for a booth). The fish dishes are superb (crispy monkfish in red curry sauce in particular) as are the banquets which cannot fail to please. Vegetarians may be less happy in this restaurant but for meat eaters its a delight. Not precisely authentic but who cares, with flavours like this you are not missing out
Thai Lemongrass – EdinburghThis is the best Tapas in Glasgow the atmosphere, food and overall design of La Tasca is out of this world, recommended everyone I know to try it. Fabby!!
La Tasca – GlasgowWonderful Chinese and Thai food in a totally unexpected place. The way this type of food should be and rarely is, fresh, crisp, fragrant. Staff are always charming, always make my daughters (11 and 13) welcome and encourage them to try new food while catering to their rather limited tastes. I particularly enjoy the mussels to start and the whole fish ( seabass sole or trout) served with spring onions and ginger. For the less fish loving customer the little vegetarian spring rolls are lovely, as is the crispy beef main which manages that rarely found sweet and sour sauce that is fruity but not cloyingly sweet.
Manchurian Restaurant The – GlasgowThis Chinese was very nice indeed... from Tams wee bro Chaz ;)
Jasmine Chinese Restaurant – GlasgowAlways a very good experience dining here. I have never been disappointed with the high standard of Italian cuisine.
Giulianos – EdinburghFirst class food, something to please everyone's palate and affordable to everyone, I never class a burger as proper food but they are to die for. I've been in top class restaurants and they could never been the service and always with a smile. Chef and Staff. Mmmmmm
Local The – Glasgowthe best curry house in glasgow, costwise anyway
India Palms – Glasgowbest curryhouse in terms of food. Watch naans getting the flamethrower treatment
Village Curry House – Glasgowtraditional scottish dining in a relaxed atmosphere with no affectation. Brilliant for meat eaters with a wide variety of dishes, limited for vegetarians. Well worth a few visits
Doric Tavern The – EdinburghThe furnishings and restaurant are simple but pleasant. The food is very good - though I hate the use of food colour in Pilau rice. The service was outstanding and the staff pleasant, friendly and courteous. Shall certainly eat there again.
