Steak and Cherry – GlasgowBooked online and quickly confirmed by email. Pre theatre meal so restaurant quiet. Very comfortable booths. Food ordered and drinks arrived quickly. Starter Haggis and Main ribeye steak. Both were delicious. Staff friendly and chatty. Would recommend and we will be back.

Ravelston House – EdinburghWent here on Saturday as a group of 8 for a meal before heading to the theatre. Food was excellent and great choice. Staff were excellent and friendly. Only thing was we waited a while to get out first drinks ordered and also they took a good while to come but overall had a good night
Steak and Cherry – GlasgowLovely meal and service. Good value for money.
Ravelston House – Edinburgh12 people celebrating my 25year office anniversary & was an amazing night. Picked the venue because of the reviews & it didnt disappoint. The food was 10/10 & the staff were super attentive. Def be back & def recommend.
Steak and Cherry – GlasgowHad a business lunch with a colleague on Tuesday, the restaurant was really nice and the staff efficient and friendly, however the food was disappointing. My starter of tasteless breaded prawns was obviously a deep frozen dish apart from the small salad served with it. My colleague enjoyed the haggis starter and thought his chicken main course was below standard pub fare ! My steak pie was tasty but the portion was small and once again we find deep frozen chips that had not been fried for long enough !
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingThank you so much to the staff at The Ravelston for making our family event run so smoothly. We really appreciated your care and help - plus the food was delicious. We were in the private room, which is perfect for a group of 10 -12 and is beautifully done up.
Ravelston House – EdinburghWe went to the Anchorage for Sunday lunch as we knew it was dog-friendly with great food and it didn’t disappoint. The staff were really friendly (especially to our dog!) and the food was delicious and well-presented as well as lovely and hot. We will be back soon!
The Anchorage Restaurant – AyrshireGreat food and service as usual We phoned our order in and was brought to our table within minutes to us sitting which is great as only have 1 hour for lunch Looking forward to next pay to visit again
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingGreat food and wonderful service as always
Steak and Cherry – GlasgowLove the bar in the Ravelston but went for lunch in the main restaurant for a change last Sunday and it was very enjoyable. Staff very friendly and attentive, food was lovely and good value.

The Anchorage Restaurant – AyrshireWe had a lovely meal here for lunch. Staff were so helpful and lovely and attentive. Portion sizes could have been a big bigger as the costs were quite high.
The Anchorage Restaurant – AyrshireLovely place and very pleasant staff but the Afternoon Tea was disappointing. I had asked for no egg sandwiches and first thing I saw on the plate was an egg sandwich. The other sandwiches were tasteless. However, the scones and cakes were delicious.
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingExcellent food. Chicken with Parma ham, 8ox steak with mushroom sauce. We both had the cheesecake which was tasty and not the usual gloopy mess served in other restaurants. Quiet as a Monday lunchtime. Will definitely come again.
