Early spring and windy. Lunch choice was great and the soup was tasty and the prawn cocktail was generous and tasty. Views fabulous.

Very impressed with the welcome, the service, the quality of food & the friendly atmosphere here.

We stayed for 2 nights while doing the 3 peaks. Amazing food for every meal! The breakfast was delicious and our evening meals were fantastic too, highly recommend the braised beef Wellington! Great staff, very friendly and such an incredible view from the tables!

We had an excellent meal. Fabulous food, great service and atmosphere. Great choice of dishes. The dessert was absolutely amazing.

A great range of original dishes from which to choose, including a 'smaller portion' option on most main dishes. Visited many times and have never been disappointed.

A Sunday evening visit and a pleasant atmosphere, the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Whilst the pork dish was very tasty the small " salmon" meal was rather dissapointing, insofar as it was a little short of salmon. Regretfully nothing on the rather limited Sunday dessert selection appealed.

Visited for a Sunday lunch. Food was prompt and tasted great. Service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be visiting again.

It is a while since our last visit to the Craven Arms, a visit that we thoroughly enjoyed. After discussing allergies and consulting the allergen book with the owner about suitable dishes we were not disappointed this time. We enjoyed another tasty meal presented by the attentive staff in the comfortable dining room.

We have enjoyed lunch here on a number of occasions & this visit was no exception. We always receive a warm welcome & excellent service & food.

Visiting from Newcastle and booked this as liked the sound of the tapas and cocktails. It’s a nice little place and the staff are friendly but it could do with some music in the background where you dine as it was just a bit dull.. The food: the price of the tapas does not reflect the quality. The patatas bravas was basically wedges in tomato passata. It had little taste. The pork belly was cooked nice but was described as being glazed which it wasn’t.. however, the hummus and bread were lovely! Lastly, the cocktails: I had a margarita which tasted like fruit salad sweets and my husband had a cherry mojito - both of which were far too sweet. I’m not convinced the margarita was even made with tequila as I couldn’t see any on the bar. Overall, we left very underwhelmed.

Booked for family Sunday lunch which was a great roast with good in house made yorkshire. My lads had the house burgers which they said were one of the best they had had
