The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyPlease can I book a table for 4 adults and one child... she will be happy to sit on a normal seat rather than a high chair! Thank you. I have a garlic allergy.
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyWe were happy with the meal at The Raven Tilley. However we felt that the pub lacked atmosphere and was very “clinical “ It is a shame as it was once a local pub with a good feel.
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyExcellent food and service, would definitely recommend, meals are very good size and very tasty, will definitely go back, lovely pub .
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyVisited saturday 8th May. Excellent food and service. Will definately be back soon. I ordered the mussels as a main meal and it was an absolute winner and such a generous portion!
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyVisited Sunday 2nd May, sat outside and ordered 2 adult beef roasts which were the best I've tasted in a very long time. Daughters had steak and a vegetarian option and really enjoyed. Booked to go again for Fathers day and cant wait!
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyGood quality roast, portion sizes are more than enough and extremely friendly staff .
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyStaff were attentive and the food was delicious. Great to be able to eat out again albeit sitting outside .
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyExcellent.
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyFriendly service and lovely food!
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyFantastic. Food, service, beer, atmosphere - it's all here. Yes, it's outside seating currently, so wrap up warm if you're inclined to feel the cold. If it's bound to be a busy time - expect to wait a little longer for your food. If the staff are run off their feet, maybe cut them a break and show patience, rather than contempt. Best of all: THE PUB IS OPEN!!! Get your glad rags on and your smiles ready and have a great time catching up on what we've all missed :)
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburySo pleased to be able to go out for lunch again. Food lovely and hot. Staff friendly and helpful. Not the prettiest beer garden but perfectly acceptable under the circumstances. Looking forward to being able to go indoors.
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyAmazing food, perfect service, smiling, friendly and exceptionally professional staff, what more could you ask for? We will be visiting, regularly. Thank you all.
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyExcellent
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyAs a couple we were really keen to visit the tilley raven on Monday 12 April, on arrival we were really disappointed, we felt a lot more could of been done in preparation, especially when the weather was really cold. I felt there should of been some outside heating, an offer of blankets. The tables weren't wiped over, dusty and dirty. Not good value for food and drink, be aware that what ever you order add on 20% as the bill has the vat on top. However, the staff were really lovely and helpful, just a great shame it could of been made better with a bit more thought and effort.
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburySunday 13 sept 13.10 hours. Sunday dinner was good but the veg was a bit hard. The pudding I did not enjoy. The service from behind the bar was very poor the barman was in the bar and not looking out for people in the dining room. The pub was nice and clean.
Coracle Tavern – ShrewsburyExcellent food & good friendly service. I will have no hesitation to recommend ;)
Bistro Jacques – ShrewsburyA party of nine went tues 6th oct for our friends birthday. Our waiter, ( Tim ) was excellent, he made the birthday girl feel really special. I must add I'm really fussy about my steaks, but it was cooked to perfection, just the way I asked it to be done. The chef (Tom) even came out to see if it was cooked to my liking. The service and the food were outstanding, and it's the best restaurant I've been to in a long time. The staff need a big pat on the back.
Bistro Jacques – ShrewsburySunday Lunch: 2 courses, £19; 3 courses, £23
