My partner had been telling me all about this place and how amazing the food was, so she booked us a table for Saturday evening, confirmation received and we drove 25minutes to the restaurant. On arrival it was clear the person tending to us was unsure on our booking and sent someone else to deal with us, he proclaimed to us that the booking system is sent to them and they have to confirm the booking by emailing the confirmation, as they hadn't becuase they had been so busy unfortunately we had no booking! Bear in mind we had the email confirmation in our hand on the screen showing it to him, he continued to say it was an error and sent us on our way. Was highly disappointed that an error on there part left us without a booking to eat and no where to go after a nearly 30 minute drive and there seemed to be no care to rectify the problem, to make matters worse, the cheek to then send us an email today saying " we hope you enjoyed your meal with us at the Swan, we'd love to see you again soon" please leave us a review? Shambolic springs to mind!!
