It’s been difficult times so trying to take this into account but the atmosphere wasn’t great, we waited nearly 1 Hr for our main meal after starters with no reason given - when I asked it finally arrived. The only vegan option was really not good & I couldn’t finish it, other meals were not good either & definitely don’t go if need gluten free which they said they had but didn’t really although attempted to resolve this. Will not be returning.

Great food great service - will return fro definite. Not our first meal here and won’t be our last. Portions are very generous so half of our meals were untouched which is a shame - we need to order better in future. It’s a meat heavy menu but the veggie and vegan options are there and are lovejy. I didn’t catch her name but the blonde lady with the tattoos who I also see at the malt house offers exceptional service .. friendly and relaxed but still very professional.,

My friend and I chose the Tilley Raven as a halfway meeting point for a bite to eat and catch up. I had not been there beforehand so didn't know what to expect. The staff were friendly and service was good. We agreed that the food we had was nice (I had rump steak cooked rare and my friend had the (slice) of steak pie which was tasty). It was a busy evening and most tables were occupied which is great to see on a Tuesday evening and after the last year, however as the room is open plan and with wooden floors it lends itself to being quite noisy especially if there's a large group celebrating at the next table! Maybe next time we meet we'll chose somewhere a wee bit quieter for a natter

Good food, comfortable rooms, great breakfast!

One word… AMAZING!!!! My wife and I have dined here a few times now and it’s always great service, Covid friendly and the meals are fantastic! The chef is a genius! Try the buffalo soldier fries and the brisket!

Service and atmosphere excellent . Food was good. Extremely friendly and efficient staff.

Would whole heartedly recommend this pub for a meal. There was a slight mix up with our booking. Josh and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Food was excellent, would definitely come back.

Our first restaurant meal for many months because of Covid restrictions, and it was everything we could have wished for. We had previously booked the White Hart in January 2020, but they had to close because of floods! A welcome return in every way. Many thanks to all the staff at the White Hart

Had a really great meal at The Tilley Raven last night for our 6th Wedding Anniversary, I tasty mussel starter and a brilliant rare steak , followed by a choc brownie. Food was great. Service was excellent. :)

Amazing food,, blew us away really, we were expecting a basic Sunday roast and we couldn’t have been more wrong. Beautiful food, we’ll be back soon.

They managed to fit in a party of 16 with only 48 hours notice ( 90th b'day) The food was lovely and plentiful and all the staff were pleasant and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them

This is our second visit as we can only come when we are on holiday. The food and service were excellent, would highly recommend. Live music on the Saturday we visited and it just added to the whole experience,

I really don't know where to start. We went for Sunday lunch here and as soon as we arrived it was a nightmare. The young barmaid took our order of drinks which was a pint of bitter, half a lager and lime and a JD and coke with ice. She then asked if we would like ice in all of the drinks? I just pretended I didn't hear it. 3 times we had to send the drinks back. After waiting 50 minutes for our food the landlord then asked if we ordered the beef baguettes to which I replied no we ordered 2 beef dinners and one pork. You should know this as you took the order. After waiting another 20 minutes our food finally arrived. I asked the young lad where was our potatoes and roasts to which he replied we don't have any in as delivery didnt arrive. What's a roast without potatoes. The meal was stone cold and the manager said don't worry it's all free of charge. Even tho the meal was free we still got up and walked out. I advise everyone to avoid this place and go elsewhere. Staff were understandings but it totally ruined the day.

Not the best meal I’ve ever had not gonna lie. Booked table at 6.30 for my family of 4 inc two young boys. Seemed very busy but got sat easily enough and ordered food at the bar. Over an hour later had to ask where it was and then had to ask again! When it came it was mixed at best. Arrived in dribs and drabs and order wasn’t right. This was almost two hours in. My ribs were very very tough and though the meat was good the roast didn’t have many veg. Kids and wife liked theirs though and locals said it wasn’t always like this. Very apologetic staff who had reasons why food was so delayed and they did give free round of drinks and money off bill. Felt sorry for them. Wife and kids thought toilets were awful in terms of cleanliness and preferred to go back to the tent and out camping loo. Music was good and beer tasted nice but I won’t be going back to give them a second chance.

Very pleasant staff and a good value, tasty meal.

I forgot to add this to my previous review. Although craft is in the name of the company, there are no craft beers available. Shame.
