The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeMy husband and i once again visited the Water Rat for a meal on 13th and we were not disappointed. We have enjoyed many meals here and we especially appreciate that we can order from the childrens menu with no quibbling, unlike some other restaurants
Water Rat – IronbridgeExcellent meal, nice friendly atmosphere and service. I had the paella special which was wonderful and so large that I couldn't quite finish it (unusual). My wife had the ribeye steak and asked for some extra veg instead of the chips advertised with it. The steak was cooked perfectly to her liking, and an inventive range of veg appeared. We'll go again.
The Queens Head – OswestryDisappointed with the steak, it was laid on top of some overpowering tomato chutney which I wasn’t a fan of. It would be better if that was on the side as it ruined the steak. Apart from that we really enjoyed our evening and would definitely come back.
The White Hart – IronbridgeFab evening! Loved it! Very ambient with low lighting..well spaced out...lovely food..fair prices...even a band on! Great evening ... even as a family. Thanks.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordLovely evening, with great service, great food and really nice atmosphere. Thought the White Hart lost its way a while ago but decided to give it another go and it’s certainly back now.
The White Hart – IronbridgeStunning food served promptly and very reasonably priced
The White Hart – IronbridgeWe regularly go for Sunday dinner at the last inn and we can’t fault it. The food is lovely, staff are friendly and it’s reasonably priced.
The Last Inn – NewportWent for Sunday dinner. Really friendly staff. Food wasn’t the best. Missing items. Food not hot only warm. Spuds rock hard. Meat more fat than anything else. Wouldn’t bother again.
The Smokey Cow – TelfordAbsolutely fabulous meal again couldn’t fault a thing beautifully presented we will be back Sunday
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyWe absolutely loved the Mexican night at Truffles. The food was fabulous and so much of it! The beers and G&T’s were really competitively priced and it was great to finish the themed evening with a cocktail. I had a pina colada. Lots of fun and a buzzy atmosphere. I can’t waited for the next themed evening
Truffles Cafe – IronbridgeFantastic food and service
The Queens Head – OswestryFood was excellent and plenty of it.. friendly staff.. been here a few times now and would definitely recommend.
The Malthouse – TelfordMy husband and I very much enjoy going to the Water Rat in Ironbridge, it is a lovely place, friendly staff , excellent food and service . We are particularly pleased that they allow us to choose a meal from the childrens menu, as we sometimes just cannot eat a full adult portion . This has not been the case in other establishments, who have refused us the choice of choosing from the childrens menu
Water Rat – IronbridgeMexican night was great
Truffles Cafe – IronbridgeDined in the restaurant with my partner and two friends on Saturday 8 June for lunch. Absolutely amazing service and food. Prices very reasonable Have booked again for my anniversary iba July. Thiroughly recommend a visit
The Last Inn – NewportService was very friendly and quick, gave sound advice when ordering. Restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the view from outside seating was lovely. Food was fresh and very tasty. Best meal iv had out in a long time and a great price.
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeHad a great meal out with my mother. Haven’t been to this pub for a while but wasn’t disappointed. We had the belly pork and were a bit unlucky to get the fatty end bits. So we mentioned it and this was rectified straight away with a much better piece of pork that tasted great. So would highly recommend, good food and exceptional customer service with a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
