The Queens Head – OswestryI was sceptical at first, having read some of the reviews, but needn’t have worried. Had a lovely Sunday lunch, no problem with service, although we were there early at 12.30. Belly pork was very nice, my wife had the chicken, vegetables and yorkshires also very good. We both enjoyed our meal, and thought it was reasonable priced. Car park not the best though, not a lot of room, but would definitely return
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordThe Sunday Roast was amazing. One of the tastiest roasts I’ve ever had. Great value for the quality of the food. Well done and would totally recommend trying.
The White Hart – IronbridgeLovely Sunday evening meal, 1 Roast Beef 1 Vegetable Roast Both meals were delicious, hot and very tasty.
The Last Inn – NewportNine of us caught up here on Sunday, we had a mix of the Sunday roast, main menu and children's menu. All the food was fantastic and cooked really well, and the desserts where phenomenal. Roast perfectly cooked, great yorkshires and plentiful portions. Lots of choice on main and children's menu. It was super busy there were a couple of mistakes with our orders but these were rectified quickly and food was brilliant. Will be back !!
The Queens Head – OswestryGreat food as always
The Queens Head – OswestryEfficient website booking. Friendly welcome. Excellent food at reasonable prices and extensive choice. Excellent service.
The Queens Head – OswestryA little slow getting served initially and then for food but wasn’t in a rush. Food was nice enough for the price. Didn’t expect to see dogs in the dining area though. I have dogs and don’t think they should be allowed where people eat especially as I could smell the large dog that was there.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordExcellent. The food was well cooked and hot when it arrived. Service was very good and the Friday night live music was awesome.
The Malthouse – TelfordLovely food, great service, lovely staff. Definitely recommend
The Last Inn – NewportService was slow, despite the fact that the place was almost empty. Food was good but portions small.
The Smokey Cow – TelfordVery nice. My partner thought his roast lamb was the best ever!
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyFood is great, staff are nice overall great service
The Queens Head – OswestryLovely Sunday lunch with fresh produce and staff very nice
The Bull – ShrewsburyWe came on a Sunday afternoon, absolutely great atmosphere with friendly staff and great service, food was amazing would definitely recommend!
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyFirst visit here. I’d describe the pub as okay but nothing special and not worth a second visit. People seem to be raving about the large quantities but I’m more interested in quality! I had the fish and chips. The fish was ok but covered in something yellow between the fish and the batter - no idea what it was? If you’re going to serve chunky chips with the potato skins on then you need to make sure those skins aren’t covered in black blemishes - not appealing honestly. My partner had the sausage and mash - again a massive amount on the plate but not attractive as the sausages were very anaemic! Little atmosphere in the pub - only 4 other tables taken! Maybe Saturday lunchtime is just a quiet time - who knows!?
