The Malthouse – TelfordI went for bottomless brunch with my mate and we were greeted by the new manager Luke who was absolutely lovely, was so kind and polite nothing was to much for him very fast and efficient service very friendly
The Last Inn – NewportMyself and my Partner went in for a Saturday evening meal. We opted for Starters and Mains and were very happy with the quality of the meals and the friendliness of the staff
The White Hart – IronbridgeFirst time at the Bulls Head for a few years. Callum took our order and was excellent and gave a brilliant first impression of the pub. Had a wait of around an hour for the meals but it was worth it!!! Great quality and portion size for the bigger eaters out there. The “mother clucker” burger was amazing. Well priced food, decent quality and we will return. Hopefully when the apple crumble available!!!
The Bull – ShrewsburyWe went on a Saturday evening. The food was nice, arrived quickly and the staff were pleasant. Considering how much others are charging for a meal out these days, I felt it was very reasonably priced. 2 of us ate 2 courses with 2 soft drinks each and the bill was just over £60.
Water Rat – IronbridgeLovely food and staff the only thing we weren't happy with was the 10% service charge which we were not told about at any point,it was only when I studied the bill on the way home that I saw it had been added
Water Rat – IronbridgeGood food. Expensive and slow service but tasty
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordWe had lunch one day and dinner the next. On both occasions we found that all staff were efficient and friendly. The meals were hot and tasty and at a reasonable price.
Water Rat – IronbridgeBooked a very large table, very last minute for a birthday meal and we all had a lovely evening, it was quiz night too, which we all took part in and thoroughly enjoyed! Everyone enjoyed their food, Luke was fantastic, very attentive and made us all laugh, will definitely return, thank you for a great evening :)
The Last Inn – NewportIts our local and used to eat there weekly when the menu was better, more pub grub! But I was very disappointed, not only with the choice of food but the quality. The chips were brown to burnt; the mash potato heated so that a tough inedible skin had formed; no pineapple for the gammon; pork not crisp as requested. Such a shame. The waitress worked her socks off, trying to serve over 25 people; more staff needed. Done tables waited over 45 mins for food.
The Smokey Cow – TelfordWe visited on a Thursday, early evening, having booked 2 weeks prior. Due to the time the Raven was quite quiet. I had the sea bass, cooked to perfection, it was fabulous. My friend had the Mediterranean vegetable cous cous (usually has Hunters Chicken, but decided to be brave and try something different) she was not disappointed. We both left extremely clean plates!
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyAbsolutely superb food as it always is, we are never disappointed.
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyWe had the bottomless brunch which is very good value. The bar staff were great, apart from the man who seemed to be the supervisor who was quite condescending.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordAnother lovely visit thank you! A warm welcome with efficient, friendly service and good food.
Water Rat – IronbridgeMet my family here for a birthday meal as pub was half way between us. Food and service excellent. I had mussels ,followed by duck an absolute treat my wife had chicken special and said it was one of the best she'd had juicy succulent. My girls both enjoyed there s ,so a great night had by all . Also nice to see those Chelsea bits behind bar.
The Queens Head – OswestryI attended the bottomless brunch yesterday (have done lots with you and other places) and what an absolute disappointment it was!! Our table was 2-4pm we were sat down and left with no drinks for 20 minutes, then told between all 6 of us we could only have two jugs which left people drinking something they didn’t like, this was not stated online when I booked!! One guest ordered a lager which arrived tasting and smelling of some sort of washing up liquid which meant she then had to go a purchase another drink which she paid for!! Then whilst waiting to order shots at the bar the male manager doing the brunch was shouting in the waitress’s face that she doesn’t fucking listen then stormed off leaving her looking rather upset and embarrassed. This was done in front of your customers and is actually disgusting. We asked several times for our food which finally arrived at 4.20pm after our brunch had finished which meant if we wanted to eat it we would have to purchase more drinks that definitely was not going to happen. We could not wait to leave!! Iv sent this email before I leave a review online ect to give you chance to maybe explain why it was an awful experience, poor service awful manager and an all round awful experience! I haven’t received an apology or a resolution so I’m happy to share my review to prevent other people wasting time and money here!
The Malthouse – TelfordLovely meal but had to wait quite a long time. Staff really pleasant and helpful. Would definitely go there again but please take a look at refurbishing your toilets. Left a bit to be desired!
