The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordSunday lunch, too many rosemary bits, lacking vegetables, only 1 piece of carot parsnip and broccoli, the cauli cheese was the Size of a 10p piece. Not as wholesome as it was in the past.
The Last Inn – NewportThe menu selection provides a good variety to suit most tastes, the food is perfectly cooked and the presentation is excellent… I have already recommended it to two meet up social groups for regular meals for members…
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyStubbled across the swan on a day out to ironbridge. Only stopped for a drink but when seeing the food come out, we decided to eat! It very well didn’t disappoint! The all American burger was something special and would definitely recommend! Great selection of smoked meats, burgers and hotdogs. as well as vegan/vegetarian options. Front of house staff very attentive and friendly! The manager on shift was very welcoming and he gave us a lovely table in the window with a river view. Nothing was too much of a problem. Will definitely be returning!
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordGreat little place. Lovely terrace at the back. Food and service both excellent. Friendly staff, and the young team made us feel really welcome. Keep it up guys.

The White Hart – IronbridgeExcellent food, the pie I had was amazing. Lovely friendly waiting staff and nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely be back.
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyFood and service both excellent.
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeHad a lovely meal here on a Saturday evening. I am gluten free and the menu options are fantastic. We shared starters and had the chicken for main - it was so tender and really delicious. We had the Vinho Verde to drink which was a perfect match. Our service from Chloe was excellent and she made our evening with her attentive service and patience whilst we deliberated what to order! We will return.
The White Hart – IronbridgeBooked a meal for 19 of us on a very busy Saturday night. Service was excellent. The food was organised really well and came when it should even though we were a big group. Not only that, it was excellent. Couldn’t fault them. Thanks for a great meal. Would recommend.
The Malthouse – TelfordMy friend and I went for an alternative afternoon tea and had the pub to ourselves. The food was lovely and there was more than enough - we took some home with us! It was all really tasty and well presented. Would definitely go back again!

The Last Inn – NewportCalled in on the off chance , the food was lovely I had pie of the day, nice veg , mash was abit solid, nothing some gravy didn't sort.. The Bull – ShrewsburyGreat comms with the Smokey Cow team before our visit and a great experience on the day - 10 of us had lunch before a work site visit nearby and it was spot on. Friendly and helpful staff catered for all our food requirements and we will be going back.
The Smokey Cow – TelfordThe service was very slow, having to wait 45 minutes for our food to be brought to us. The restaurant wasn't busy at this point. My husband ordered a meal with ribs and a quarter chicken, only to be informed they had run out of chickens and coukd only offer wings as a replacement. I'm sorry, but two chicken wings do not make up for a quarter of a chicken. I had the brisket, which although tender was very thinly sliced, the put gravy was tasteless and I had to ask for the bread that was in the menu description. I honestly didn't see the point of the pit gravy when the beef was already in a helping of gravy. It reminded me very much of boil in the bag beef. We asked for a 2nd round of drinks, the same as our 1st round, a beer and 2 large glasses of wine. My daughter and I were given a different wine, but much smaller measures, in fact neither glass reached the 175 ml mark. Weights & Measures woukd have a field day with this. The food was very expensive for what it was, tasteless and being served in chipped enamel trays didn't do anything for me. All I can say is that the staff were very pleasant. Wouldn't return I'm afraid.
