Very enjoyable meal. Tempura seafood platter was delicious and then the main courses were on a par. The staff were very friendly, attentive and welcoming. The service was quick so overall a pleasant experience.

The Smokey Cow – TelfordAmazing food, good of you to put us in a window table to people watch and attract folks in. All in all a most enjoyable evening, will certainly be back.
Suree’s Kitchen – IronbridgeThe food is exceptional- authentic , quality ingredients and absolutely amazing flavour . Wonderful choice and a hostess who did not stop to make sure we were well looked after . Service is quick despite a busy restaurant.
Suree’s Kitchen – IronbridgeWe had to wait a little while for our food order to be taken. But we didn’t mind, due to the atmosphere being brilliant & we could clearly see the amazing staff were rushed off there feet. The food was well worth the wait. The steak was just to die for. 10/10 would recommend.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordWe went last Saturday night, it was busy but we could see why it was so popular. We had one of the best Thai green currys ever, a top rate Pad Thai and excellent Cashew stir fry. Vey accommodating for vegetarians too. We were really impressed and will be back.
Suree’s Kitchen – IronbridgeGood food, compact vibrant atmosphere and excellent welcome by Suree and her staff. Deservedly vey popular so essential to book.
Suree’s Kitchen – IronbridgeGood food and service although the lad in charge was mainly on his own he was always prompt and polite. Definitely be coming again
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordBeautiful place to eat! the hand cut chips were beautifully cooked and the chicken was juicy! 100% going again and i recommend it to anyone wanting a lovely meal :)
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordWe have been regular visitors to the Last over many years and it has always been inconsistent. Typically it’s good for a while, and then standards slip and we give it a miss until we hear things have improved. We are tempted back mainly because it is within walking distance for us. Six months ago, we were telling everyone how good the food was, especially the Sunday roast. Unfortunately, since then it has deteriorated to the point where we won’t be going again. Last Sunday we both had the beef and it was tough. Half the vegetables were warm, the other half were almost cold. I had had a similar experience earlier in the week when mine and my friend's vegetable kebabs were delivered almost cold, without the garlic mayonnaise, and with ordinary fries instead of the sweet potato fries as described on the menu. Our enjoyment of our Sunday roast was not just marred by the food. Half way through our meal live music struck up. This is not something I would expect on a Sunday lunchtime. Inevitably noise levels rose as people had to talk louder to communicate. And then there were the dogs….We heard one barking in the large dining room at the back. We saw one sitting on the seating. And another huge dog was led passed us brushing against my husband twice. I thought dogs were only allowed in the bar area but this has obviously changed. They should not be allowed in a restaurant and definitely not sitting where the next diner could be sitting. All in all an experience not to be repeated.
The Last Inn – NewportWe went for my birthday meal on a Tuesday evening. We weren’t aware of the quiz but we’re sat at a table far enough away for it not to be an issue. The fryer wasn’t working so our choices had to be changed to accommodate this. My steak was very nice but the portions were small. The other 5 members of the party said the food was ok but not great- small portions & not very hot. We were not offered any sort of discount although the waitress had been apologetic at the reduced menu. Don’t think we will visit again in a hurry.
The Last Inn – NewportExcellent meal cooked really well and beautifully presented, served by friendly and efficient staff in an interesting and cosy dining area. A little pricey at lunchtime (no specific lunch menu) but overall a very good experience and we will return.
Water Rat – Ironbridge5 star
Suree’s Kitchen – IronbridgeLovely setting, fantastic friendly and welcoming staff and as always fantastic food thank you! We thoroughly enjoyed the Thursday night street food and will defiantly be back soon!
Suree’s Kitchen – IronbridgeOutstanding food, superb service, sat by the river what’s not to love! The food was exceptional - fully recommended ❤️
Suree’s Kitchen – IronbridgeWhat a great place and what lovely people working there. We were a party of 5 people in for dinner on a Friday night. The selection and quality of the food was super. The flavours Suree get's into her food is incredible. Every one of the 5 people in our group said the same and as you know it's always hard to please everyone let alone get them so excited about the experience. Well done and thank you for the great food.
Suree’s Kitchen – IronbridgeOverall a relatively positive experience, however the 16hr brisket wasn’t what was expected in the slightest, and was only lukewarm, the deserts were an overly priced and poor quality. One waitress was very unapproachable- creating a negative atmosphere
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordThe food was very good and portion sizes plentiful. The service was good and there’s a nice terrace overlooking the river. One blot on the copy book was the bill was wrong and when my wife visited recently the bill was wrong that night too. But apart from that we had a pleasant evening.
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeFirstly the food we had was lovely and I would definitely eat here again but probably not on a busy night. Music started on the evening we were there which was great for the atmosphere. Desserts were sparse as they had only 3 options left after two had ran out which was frustrating. The service wasn’t great. One of the ladies who served us was really nice and the other was really unhappy looking and just slammed our drinks down on the table and walked off rather than passing them out. A lot of what we asked for took some time which would have been fine if all the wait staff were as polite and hospitable as the First Lady who served us. I unfortunately won’t be rushing back but may try again on a quieter time.
