Excellent meal. Thoroughly recommend the pork belly. Great service as it was quite busy. One mistake on partners pudding but instantly manager took that off the bill. He didn't need to as partner ate what was given him . Only draw back is the menu being black writing on dark background. Quite hard to read.

Even though I had a booking, confirmation and a reminder email the place was closed! I understand the fire closed the venue, how can you take bookings? Not impressed at all

Even though the food was enjoyable we were disappointed that our afternoon tea wasn't one like we've had before . Macaroni cheese , spare ribs chicken wings and small cobs . No scones instead it was chocolate brownie, chic chip cookie and half of a small chocolate pastry flan . My partner was very disappointed as this was his 1st experience having a afternoon tea .

The food was delicious and the staff were friendly, my only criticism was how slow the service was. Would definitely go back again

Pre booked for birthday cocktails & food , very busy with limited staff, however they remained professional and dealt exceptionally well working under obvious pressure. The cocktails were amazing & the food absolutely wonderful!! We will definitely return soon! . NB- management. You really do have an excellent team !! Keep hold of them, they represent your business exceptionally!

Sunday Lunch. We've been going to The Last Inn off and on for some time now. The latest experience on Sunday 24/09/23 was, without doubt, the best. They were busy. In the past you could expect to wait quite a long time for service, there were no delays - more staff - much better organisation. Food excellent, generous and at last they produced nice crunchy roast potatoes. Mistake they used to make was to pile meat on top of roasties (making them soggy). Wine by the bottle much more reasonably priced than previously. Somehow, The Last Inn have been able to hold their food prices, yet deliver better service, maintain excellent quality and reduce prices of Wine by the Bottle. Fantastic. New manager made all the difference. Thank you everyone who looked after us

Had mid week dinner at The Elephant Crossing and it was lovely. The restaurant was a little quiet but I imagine it’s so much busier on the weekend. The lady who served us was really lovely, and the food was incredible! We over ordered between the two of us but it was delicious. Really huge portions for the price. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back again!

Superb Sunday lunch last week, with excellent service from the bar and restaurant personnel. A really enjoyable experience and highly recommended.

We have had a couple of Sunday lunches at the Swan. Not only was the Manager and his staff delightful, but also, the food has been excellent. I have had worse Sunday lunches from 'posh' pubs costing far more. However, that's not to say that the Swan isn't a beautiful place in which to eat.....it very much is. Views of the River and a lovely, rustic and characterful interior coupled with a great atmosphere and plenty of good beers! On a wet Monday night, we had a family meal for my wife's Birthday. The food was again wonderfully cooked and presented and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating and attentive.
