The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordThe food was really good. First time in a long long time all of us had been but The Last Inn did not disappoint.
The Last Inn – NewportFabulous customer service and excellent food
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyWe had a very pleasant meal here after a hard days sightseeing. A nice range of dishes on the menu and it was good to be able to purchase wine by the carafe.
The White Hart – IronbridgeWife and I visited on fairly busy Sunday for our anniversary. The menu looked very good. It was surprising to see traditional roasts with a large selection of pub meals available on a Sunday. I settled on a sweet potato, mushroom and spinach parcel and my wife had the seafood linguine. I was very impressed with portion sizes and the quality of the food. The menu promised roast vegetables but this was sadly lacking in quantity. Desert was fantastic, I had the millionaire cheesecake and shared my wife's sticky toffee pudding. The only downside was service was a little slow. 40 minutes for mains to arrive. The staff were attentive and did apologise for the wait One request, please oil the swing door to the kitchen. It's rather squeaky and is being used a lot. One couple next to us moved as they were next to the door and couldn't hear eachother talking!
The Malthouse – TelfordWe had a wonderful Friday evening in the pub, with amazing food, great service and a wonderful vibe. They were rushed off their feet n the first day of summer holidays and lovely weather but they managed it with a constant smile and amazing kitchen delivery.
The Malthouse – TelfordWe come here regularly for the excellent Sunday lunch. This time my children had sausage and mash, and the beef burger from the kids menu. Portion sizes were large, satisfying my 13 year old. I had 10z steak, which was lovely. Wife had SFC burger which was so big she couldn’t pick it up. Always recommend this pub.
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyWent on an off chance on a Monday night. Only two diners in at that time, background music but obviously no "buzz" from lots of other people. Have been here once before a few years ago and there is an atmosphere when there's far more people in it. Food was exceptional, very tasty and some of the best barbecue we've had. Service very good by all concerned.
The Smokey Cow – TelfordHad Sunday lunch here with my wife and adult daughter. They both had beef whilst I had the roast pork option. Everything was well cooked and tasty with only one exception, my pork was slightly drier than I would have liked. Restaurant was very clean, staff were attentive without being overbearing. We all chose the two courses for £20 and were well satisfied with food quality and amount. Would definitely recommend and will visit again when in the area.
Water Rat – IronbridgeBooked in on a Saturday evening at the Tilly. Great staff attending to all our needs. Fantastic food really tasty. Would definitely go again.
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyUnfortunately, our experience wasn't great at all (other than the young lady who was the only member of staff looking after the tables and the bar). We arrived in the midst of what was very obviously an inspection (staff later confirmed this). We were told no orders for food could be taken and they couldn't say how long that would be for. There was a manager there and although friendly, was too distracted to tend to guests. A fair few flies in the dining area. There were folders and paperwork left out on the table next to us, one of which we could see said pest control. It was very chaotic. Some drinks were not available, cocktails came incomplete. Toilets were very unclean. Conversations were being had openly about the issues that had been raised by inspectors. Diners were arriving and being seated despite what was happening. Food was a bit underwhelming to be honest. We were given a round of cocktails to compensate and offered another venue to dine at. Could have been much better managed by the manager. Venue had been chosen by my sister for her birthday so it was a very disappointing. I appreciate they didn't know inspectors were coming but very unprofessional, chaotic, and generally poor all round
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeFood was superb , staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us , the tills went down but sorted the payments for meals out between us
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordLovely 2 night stay for our anniversary. Caitlyn and Harry were great hosts. Food amazing, steaks expertly cooked. Would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Malthouse – TelfordOur third visit for a family meal - didn’t disappoint, beautifully cooked delicious and value for money.
The Queens Head – Oswestryeasy to book and edit the booking. Staff very helpful. Food always a good standard. It was a bit noisy with some young children, but the staff found a quieter space for us, this was very helpful as there was some important personal conversation in this family get together.
The Queens Head – OswestryI went out for a family meal with my parents my mum has not long had surgery was unable to eat a full meal and was only able to manage soup as a main staff were very accommodating of this and all the staff we there to make our experience a great welcoming experience
The Tilley Raven – Shrewsburyi recently dined at The Last Inn and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. The food was nothing short of exceptional, with each dish bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. i highly recommend The Last Inn for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I will definitely be returning soon!
The Last Inn – NewportDespite the booking for our table not getting through to the restaurant for some reason the staff were excellent. They fixed the table for us and the food was terrific
