Food was great. Plenty of choices for all on the menu. Service was excellent. Will be back!
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeFood was OK. Didn't realise there was going to be live music. The music was good but it was very loud and difficult to have a conversation. Service was very slow. Door was left open so smoke from smoking area just outside was blowing inside which wasn't great.
The Smokey Cow – TelfordWe stayed here for the night on route to Wales for a holiday. The place was great, quirky, rooms were spacious and beds were comfy..the food was the highlight we all thoroughly enjoyed it all. Only issue was waiting a very long time for my daughter's ice cream. No reason at all two scoops should have taken over half an hour to be served.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordFood superb, well presented and very tasty Staff very polite and friendly Good range of gluten free options Great atmosphere Good value for money Shame no rice dish or something to 'bulk' things out a bit Unfortunately don't live in the area so may not visit again
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeWhat a location but Visited recently all outside tables were dirty Quality of the drinks purchase were not the best Could do with a pipe clean and glasses were dirty Shame really
Water Rat – IronbridgeTable was booked a few weeks in advance for a 2pm Sunday lunch. Table was not ready when we arrived eventually we were seated and after half an hour still no service! After getting someone attention we were then told two meats off the menu and they said it was chefs fault! The meals came not piping hot no stuffing which was ordered as an extra by the time-we could draw someone attention we had almost finished and told stuffing had run out and waiter forgot to tell us.!
The Smokey Cow – TelfordFood was great, service was a little slow but we wasn't in a rush so it wasn't an issue. We were only given the Sunday lunch menu, we had to ask about other menu, The staff were lovely and training a new lady so completely understood the slow timing.
The Smokey Cow – Telford4 of us went on a Thusday evening & had a variety of the open tacos, tortilla & fries. All were really tasty as were the sweets we finished with. Nice draught lager & cocktails. Good service & great outdoor space.
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeFood was poor, particularly given how much they charge (£7 for an extra portion of cauliflower cheese!). Roast potatoes were undercooked, pork fat hadn't been rendered properly and just not that nice.
Water Rat – IronbridgeOn writing this review, this was the first time that I've had a meal at the Swan and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. It was cooked fresh and was very tasty. I really enjoyed the food, and the quality of the service that myself & my friends received was really good. The atmosphere of the place was really relaxing and enjoyable. I would highly recommend eating at this fine establishment. Thank you to the staff. I will definitely be returning in the future.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordGood food well presented and severed by friendly staff, busy night with happy customers enjoying a Friday night out with friends and family just what a good pub should be !
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyAbsolutely Amazing food beats Harleys/ Hickory Never going anywhere else for a bbq food again. Everyone who loves Bbq meals needs to try Smokey Cows. 10/10
The Smokey Cow – TelfordReally enjoyed the atmosphere, great live music and great food.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordFood was delicious, however was just warm and location is great, just poor service waited an hour for food and the restaurant was not full.
The Smokey Cow – TelfordBeautiful food, best food around Wem. Great service too, left happy.
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyI booked lunch at The Last Inn for a group of thirteen after walking in the Lilleshall area recently. The original 2pm lunchtime had to be changed not once but twice over the telephone as unforseen events disrupted the walk schedule. Nevertheless Zofia was very accommodating and we all sat down together to enjoy a lovely lunch even though it was later than planned. There was a good selection to choose from the Lunch / Main Menus and the food served was very good and vfm. If we visit the area again I would definitely return.
The Last Inn – NewportGood selection on the menu. Service excellent. Price fair for the quality. All dishes chosen were good, but needed a little more sauce on the pasta.
The Last Inn – NewportWent for Sunday lunch and had roast beef which was excellent. We did have a starter of chorizo bits which I wasn’t too keen on. They should have been crispy in my opinion. Other than that it was a good Sunday lunch
