When arriving no one was about, we waited and waited after about ten minutes eventually a girl came and told us we could sit at any table laid for two. The place was virtually empty, would of preferred to sit at a side table and not in the middle where the only two seaters were. No atmosphere, only two staff, one of them it was their first day. The food was good, portion size ok, and not bad value. Wine very expensive for a bottle of cheap Sauvignon. Seemed to be no management or landlord. I might return in a few years to see if they have better management and atmosphere.
The Bull – ShrewsburyWent to the bull on a Friday night 15th July as a party of 4 for the first back to this pub for several years. We were the only people eating there that night which I must say resulted in a bit of a strange atmosphere.but saying that the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good. We all had starters which we all really enjoyed. 2 of us had vegetarian burgers and 2 of us had steaks. All of us enjoyed our meals and will go back. Would recommend the bull to go for a meal

The Bull – Shrewsburyfood is fantastic, they are just understaffed. that said, the staff they do have are fantastic and a credit to the pub
Water Rat – IronbridgeGreat higher end gastropub with the willingness and ability to adapt meals to cater for my wife's gluten intolerance. The staff are knowledgeable and generally I can't fault their quality of service. Have now eaten here several times and have no hesitation in recommending them
The White Hart – IronbridgeAfter being recommended by friends the experience didn’t live up to the expectations after hearing their feedback. The service team were incredible and completing understanding to issues. Unfortunately we found a bone in one of the chicken burgers. The chef either ignored or didn’t see changes to meals as requested. Ordered two lotus sundaes and what we received was similar to the ice cream factory at pizza hut. We received ice cream with marshmallows & M&M no lotus sauce and a tiny lotus biscuit broke over two sundaes. The manager on shift & the young lad who were serving us were really understand and helped as much as they could and removed the cost of the burger with the bone and all the deserts ordered. Hopefully if we were to return again we wouldn’t have the same issues from the kitchens side as we received this time.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordBooked a table online very easily. We were welcomed by Skye who was really helpful. Staff were able to advise on menu choices with knowledge from customer and staff experiences. Our food was served promptly, was hot and very tasty. A lovely venue for either a family gathering or a quiet meal for two. Have already recommended to friends to visit.
The Swan At Ironbridge – Telford5 star!
Water Rat – IronbridgeYesterday had the Wake after my Mum’s funeral at The Bull at Rodington and the buffet they put on was fantastic! Proper beef and chicken sandwiches, not sliced packet meat, chips were delicious and kept being topped up, homemade scotch eggs plus lots more then delicious cakes. Thanks to the chef and all staff involved, everyone there was very impressed.
The Bull – ShrewsburyGreat, friendly service but disappointing food, we won’t hurry back . The meat pie had hardly any meat in it, the Katsu curry had very little sauce though more was provided on request.; the Caesar salad however was absolutely swimming in dressing and was inedible.
The Malthouse – TelfordAbsolutely amazing meal out at the Butcher’s Kitchen. The food was beautiful, pork starter in particular was cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and attentive. Having an allergy to dairy I often feel limited on the meal options at restaurants, however having let the restaurant know in advance, they had a menu prepared marked up with all the meals I could and couldn’t have on arrival, made for a relaxing and enjoyable meal out.
The Butchers Kitchen – TelfordThe starters were really delicious. Disappointing with the main menu quality though. The bar next to the restaurant were very loud and we were seated right next to the doorway. Service staff were very attentive and friendly.
The Bull – ShrewsburyThe atmosphere was great and the main course exceeded our expectations, the brisket and pulled pork are gorgeous. If you are planning 2 courses go for the starter as the dessert was disappointing. Excellent evening and we will definitely be going back.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordLovely food, great service.
The Bull – ShrewsburyWe went for Sunday lunch, The service was good and all staff were very polite and attentive . I cannot fault the food, good sized portions and all hot . We will certainly be eating here again and recommending to friends

Friendly greeting as always Sadly you have not up dated the info on the present staff such a shame when they work so hard and you can't even be bothered to take new photos come out and do them soon before the summer ends
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyGreat atmosphere & service , food was excellent, young staff members were very knowledgeable about menu and answered any questions with enthusiasm, will definitely go again,
