This is a tiny, family run restaurant, a little quirky but well loved by locals. It's unlicensed but The Radway Pub (next door but one) will sell you a beer and let you take the glass back later :)

Sidmouth Tandoori – SidmouthVisited La Rosina's very late at night, and found we were the last and only people being served at the time, yet the staff remained (outwardly) friendly and very polite. The food was very good, but nothing outstanding - what you would expect from an Italian restaurant, however there were some very appealing specials also available when we visited. Overall, a nice restaurant.
La Rosina Trattoria – SidmouthDick & Jean who run this place are the loveliest of hosts, the food is very interesting and beautifully served. My wife lives in London, and when she is down here this is her favourite eatery.
Barn and Pinn Cottage, The – SidmouthHad a great meal with nothing coming from the freezer. Everything on the plate was fresh! Will be going on a regular basis.
Balfour Arms The – Sidmouthsuperb - makes every other restaurant in the area look very average.
The Salty Monk – SidmouthWe had a very good time here, personal service, friendly staff and a passionate chef all make the difference here. The sea bass with asian flavours was excellent as was the presentation. I heartily recommend this to anyone around the Exeter area
Neil’s Restaurant – SidmouthThis restaurant is in Newton Poppleford, near Sidmouth. Husband and wife team doing all the right things with fresh, seasonal and, where possible, local ingredients. Small menu which inspires confidence. Fish, seafood, meat. Good vegetarian menu, too. I would eat there every week if I could afford it.
Moores Restaurant – SidmouthWell worth a visit for the seafood, very well presented and very tasty.
Golden Lion The – SidmouthNeil specialises in sea-food, and you will do well to book your table early. This is quite the best place in Sidmouth to eat out on imaginative cooking at a reasonable price.
