Really well placed, just down the hill from the castle, the food was delicious and made even more enjoyable by the friendly, attentive service. Fantastic place to unwind with some great food and a glass or two!

My choice of the lamb liver was alas not available, so I had the Toad in the Hole.... proper Yorkshire portion....great sausages and really good and plentiful veg. Fabulous. Wife had the delicious Seafood Money Bags, with super lobster sauce. Only negative was the bread, which was only ok. Good value for money with Lunch/Early Bird menu. Nice Bistro dishes.
