We booked a table for my mams birthday, what can I say but service was amazing even down to getting a cushion for my mams back , meal was absolutely delicious so much I struggled to finish it . We brought a cake which the staff were happy to bring it out singing happy birthday which brought a tear to my mam face . Thankyou all very much will definitely be back

Fabulous meal as always with excellent service. Hospitality is above and beyond with a fab atmosphere. My go to place for the best food. Staff are very friendly and are always willing to help if needed. If you have not yet paid them a visit then you certainly need to asap. Use the app to book your table its easy to use and you always get a reply.

Absolutely amazing food. The staff are so attentive and friendly you feel as if you've always known them. The food is fabulous, served and presented beautifully. The prices are really reasonable. Always a pleasure to visit the harbour lights. Can't wait for the next time

The food is always delicious and service is always great. Good choice of menu my only criticism is there’s not enough smaller portion choice for the older customers.

It was our first time at this little gem. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, we were shown to our table quickly and served within minutes. I can only say the food was fantastic, well cooked, presented nicely and piping hot. Nothing was too much trouble and we enjoyed a lovely anniversary dinner. Thank you.

It was our second recent visit to the Harbour Lights Friday night steak offer. Once again the food was really good and such good value. The views are also stunning. We will definitely be back

Rapidly becoming our favourite spot. Massive portions, freshly cooked and top quality food, friendly and helpful staff and, for what you're getting, reasonably priced.

We ate at 5.00pm & were easily seated. It was Fri, so they had the steak offer - 2 meals & 2 drinks £29.95. I had chicken breast & my friend had steak, we opted to have some peppercorn sauce & onion rings. Those onion rings are something else, clearly freshly made using large onions. One portion to share is more than enough. There chips are big chunky homemade, not frozen rubbish. I would’ve liked my black pudding to be cooked to a crisper finish (but it was ok) My chicken breast was really good & not dry or over cooked. My friend said her steak was nice, but didn’t rave about it. For pub food you can’t bet the price, quality & taste.

4 of us drove to South Shields from Hartlepool to do a walk along the coast. Googled where is best to eat for after our walk and this pub had really good reviews so booked a table for the end of our walk and they did not disappoint. 2 of us had the fish and chips and gave them 10 out of 10, I had the king prawn in Spicy tomatoes sauce and my friend had the mussels both starters but with a portion of chips added was like a main course, very nice. Our dog jessie was also made welcome with bowls of water for dogs. Lovely friendly staff and a nice location. Would highly recommend.
