Not bad at all and to be fair, better than your average Italian restaurant, friendly and polite. Service could be quicker, but overall I? certainly go back

Tony’s Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria – SouthportFast, furious but fun, this restaurant deserves a good rating if only for the speed of the whirlwind service and Jo Jo... The food is always good, service outstanding and never a dull night
New China City – Southportthought I? give it a try, acceptable but little more and although it now appears very middle of the road, with a little effort it could be so much better
Taj Mahal – SouthportTried Cloisters after finding it on the Net and was delighted with the place. Previous reviews were spot on and we would recommend it to anyone. Very pleasant and quiet with excellent food. Only disappointment - we could not manage one of their sweets!
Knightsbridge Restaurant – SouthportNice relaxed atmosphere, excellent food and service at an attractive price would be pleased to recommend to anyone.
Casa Italia – SouthportI have been here for birthdays and special occasions the food is great and prices are not to high I would recommend it to anyone.
Weld Blundell Arms – SouthportIt was a wonderful experiance
Mamma Mia Pizzeria – SouthportI recently attended a function here and it was like going back into the 1930`s. It was quite a pleasant meal, and competantly prepared , but not exactly with the skills of Silver Service as expected. It must be difficult to maintain an ageing institution such as this, and sadly its age is the one thing that hits you between the eyes. Do watch out for the car parking charges though. The joke of the evening was the car park fee ON LEAVING....... I now feel confident that I must have purchased shares in the car park!!!!
Prince Of Wales Hotel – SouthportHaving lived on the Continent for many years, it does really good to find a place that cooks real food in a real manner. The fish aren't battered or crumbed, the sauces are a dream, the prices are through and through in order and the desserts are a sin. The Sandgrounder
The Warehouse Kitchen and Bar – SouthportWent with my girlfriend for her 18th birthday. And having sampled most of what southport has to offer, this was by far and away the best. I had the baby shank of lamb, and it was stunning.........Recommended
Knightsbridge Restaurant – SouthportExcellent food. Best king prawns, fillet steak and sticky toffee pudding in the area!!!! Domaine OTT Rose bit pricey at £35 a bottle but delicious!
The Warehouse Kitchen and Bar – SouthportWe have been eating here for over 20 years, always happy to help and change set menus around to suit personel taste, you wont go far wrong no matter if there is 2 of you or 22 of you!
Lings on Kings – SouthportMore of an adult restaurant than Pizza Hut, quick service and nice atmosphere. Good for couples.
Pizza Express – SouthportOne of Southports better Indian Restaurants, but could now do with a "makeover" The food is usually very good, but the decor is looking a bit tired and the portions appear to be getting smaller or is it just familiarity breeding contempt? Service always friendly but slow if they are half full or beyond. I hasten to add that there is not a great deal wrong with Lalqila that a kick in the Managerial pants wouldn`t cure and it wouldn`t take a lot to make what has become a good Restaurant , a great Restaurant once more.
Taj Mahal – SouthportThis was a Restaurant that we expected to shine, the location is good, down by the Park and parking easy, the Restaurant inside has a pleasant air to it and unfortunately, when we went, they were quite busy. The service was extremely slow andgave the impression that they were doing you a favour serving you. When we did eventually get started I have to admit that the food was quite good, but with a long wait in between courses it made the evening drag on. At the end of the night there were no complaints about the food but the bill was a different matter. The drinks prices were -- well -- pricey to say the least. I`d like to try it when they are not so busy, but won`t rush back.
Ho Lee Chow – SouthportThis is a really good Indian restaurant. Nothing too radical or innovative, but always excellent food, and highly recommended.
Belash – SouthportExcellent choice of traditional food, perfectly cooked to order. Proffessional and courteous staff and pleasant surroundings, never a disappointment.
Kasturi Indian Cuisine – SouthportI have been eating here for years and the service and food is lovely. They have a selection chefs specials which you dont find in every place. For a casual meal this is great value and choice.
