Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesSuperb. Food was absolutely fantastic, service was great & restaurant is lovely. Only criticism Aperol spritz was a little weak, but other than that it was top drawer. Highly recommend.

Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesAbsolutely brilliant meal, great service from the team and the food was fantastic
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesWorst experience ever, had a voucher for £50 which we were informed by fifty-four staff would be taken off the bill at the end. We asked for this to be clarified as we had recieved this from the hotel we stayed at and wasn't sure the exact offer. Previous to this we were given 3 options for booking times 5pm, 9pm and 10pm, we opted for 5pm even though that was rather early, as we passed the restaurant throughout the day I asked a member of staff if it was possible to push the time to 6pm, she explained they were fully booked. No problem. Upon arrival we could hear what we think to be an Italian waiter consistently telling off the young waitresses, it was difficult to hear and not the most welcoming atmosphere. My partner opted for ribs and as a vegan I ordered the only option which was a burger, I asked if the chips were vegan, the waitress went to check and said yes but they are cooked in the same oil as everything else. This in any case makes any vegan product no longer vegan and any good chef should have known this. I asked for a simple jacket potato, instead the waitress came back and said he would do me some chopped potatoes with herbs. No problem. The food was fine. We constantly checked our bill to see if we had reached the vouchers worth. Upon doing so we asked for the bill. The amount came to £63 so we used our voucher and put £13 to the cost. We wanted to give a tip to our waitress, not necessarily for the service but for what she had had to endure from the other member of staff. We also noted that our prompt 5pm arrival due to being fully booked was a clear lie as some tables remained empty most of the evening. The Italian man picked up our bill and began shouting at us saying we owed £28 as drinks are not included, we tried to tell him that we clarified the voucher with staff before purchasing anything as we wanted to make sure, next minute what we believe to be the head chef comes out and joins in on this torrade of abuse, not allowing us to speak. He even had the audacity to say 'don't blame a 14 year old girl' I would never do that, especially after the way she had been treated by his staff I expect everytime she works. I explained that she herself may need clarification on the voucher. We left paying no more than £13. Half way down the street from the restaurant, we hear 'oi' it was the Head chef following us down the street threatening to call the police and send them to our room as we had committed theft. We said it would be a welcome idea and he again refused to hear us out. Disgusting customer service and just abnormal behaviour all round. We went back to the hotel and told the experience to the very nice woman behind reception, I began to get upset after the ordeal and she couldn't have been nicer. She has emailed her manager as sometimes they've refused to take the voucher all together and have had other bad reports. I strongly recommend they cut ties with this restaurant. Appalling experience, In need of a lot of customer service training. Please do yourself a favour and eat elsewhere, I can imagine the experience would be a lot more positive without setting foot through fifty fours door.

Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesWe have had the tapas here on a few occasions and always good, so we thought we would try breakfast and it is equally as good, varied different menu , well presented food and helpful staff.
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesHad a fantastic night food absolutely great highly recommend x
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesBooked table online a week earlier arrived on time only two other tables taken. We ordered our breakfast and drinks, after a twenty minute wait we were told they had lost our order,it was re taken and we waited another fifteen minutes for a coffee ,when breakfast finally arrived we had seen numerous people seated and served and had waited a total of fifty minutes . The food was very good ,but we wouldn't choose to eat here again.
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesFive ladies out for lunch. Service was excellent, Just 2 small points although I love calamari, they were a little salty and I do like seasoning. Poached eggs shouldn't be served on sugary waffles I love waffles but they don't have to be sweet for a savoury dish.
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesHad tapas at 54 last night. How great to be able to have tapas so close to home. The atmosphere is friendly and everyone was helpful and attentive. The tapas we had were delicious and I am looking forward to going back to try some more. We appreciated the help of the Manager as to how much we should order. The churros made a good evening great.

Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesWe visited No54’s for dinner recently and the food, ambience and staff were amazing. We love this place and would highly recommend for lunch or dinner. The food choice is fab and the tapas menu is the best we’ve had in a long time. The tapas portions are really generous and you can easily share four portions between two. We will be back for sure.
