Banthai – St. Annes-On-SeaWent here after reading that they won the best Indian restaurant in the North West in the Gazette so thought I would give it a try.Was not disappointed. The food served here is outstanding, my friends and I were very impressed and we could not fault anything. Excellent. Will be coming back for more!
Bilash Balti – St. Annes-On-SeaVery friendly professional attitude they remember you and treat you special including a complimentary drink and free pickles. The food is well cooked with fresh ingredients to a high standard. I go regularly and would recommend it to anyone, staff are always happy.
Imli – St. Annes-On-SeaFANTASTIC home made scones!!! Breathtaking views with extremely friendly staff. Clean modern cafe with a good range of well priced home made food. Going to try home made burgers on my next visit!
Water’s Edge Cafe – St. Annes-On-SeaWas back home for a night and always use the Moghul when in town for takeaway or eat in. I ordered my food which was spot on as usual and was told they had a new place in Lytham that actually delivers called Bhaji Bar. Will try that next!
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaJust enjoyed a fabulous birthday gathering at Banksy's Coffee house and bar in the newly revamped conservatory area at the front of the hotel - all blonde wood with white walls and gleaming white furniture, this stylish area, with its stunning views is just a delight. The coffee is fab; I believe the Banksy's Hendricks G and T is a classic and the staff including the very welcoming bar manager are just great together with Roger and family who run the hotel. My 40 or so friends and family who so enjoyed our gathering there will all be coming back or booking a stay. I can imagine this area will really enhance anyone's visit as it's a perfect spot for refreshments on arrival or a nightcap. Nothing is too much trouble for staff and it is a really great find as it completely adds to the facilities already at the hotel. Also, prices are really reasonable - another bonus! Shall definitely become a Banksy's regular and already wondering if I can organise a family reunion and centre it there so that family can stay at the Carlton. Check it out people - I think you will be as impressed as I have been!
The Carlton and Banksy’s Coffee Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaFirst time at Zen and was very pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff both young and older, a good lively atmosphere (although you would expect nothing less dining at 9pm on a Saturday evening) and attractive Oriental décor with good lighting. There are two menus (Chinese and Thai) presented in a small booklet and the kitchen is quite happy to ramp up or moderate the spice levels depending on your preferences. There are other Chinese restaurants to choose from in St Annes but I think Zen stands out from the crowd by offering diners a choice of full Chinese and Thai menus.
The Zen Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaVisited Jack's last Sunday night for a birthday celebration. The group varied in age from 16 months old to 92 years! But, there was something for everyone and everyone enjoyed the meal very much. There was a set menu available and the choices were very good so most people opted for this. The portions were good and the food was of a very high quality! If you haven't been you really should givve it a go and at £12 for 2 courses or £15 for three it is excellent value for the quality you are sure to receive.
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaOverpriced, food lacked any authenticity. St annes post code is being used here to charge people over the odd prices, waited 10 mins to get a drink, go over the road to the little italian tapas place much better
Olive Tree Brasserie – St. Annes-On-SeaDefinitely the best butties in the area. Great staff and really really good. You must try the soup and the supreme
Sue’s Sandwich Bar and Bakery – St. Annes-On-SeaThe best indian take-away in the North West! Never dissapointed, allways delighted! Great service, great food and great selection.
The Dilraj – St. Annes-On-SeaOlivers has been a favourite of mine and my husband for quite a while and now they have added some new really great dishes to their already impressive menu. The Caesar salad is particularly excellent! Lunch or evening this is the place for the best food in St Annes, fantastic quality at a very reasonable price! Always feels very welcoming too!
Olivers – St. Annes-On-SeaHave eaten here again recently and tried the early diner menu this time. I am always wary about these set menus as the portions can be small and not sure if they are value for money. Not the case at Jack's!! Had a delicious three course meal which was of excellent quality and we all left full!! For a mid-week meal this menu is perfect, great value and of the normal ala carte quality, highly recommended!!
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaWe are lucky to live within walking distance but we would travel miles to visit it if it was necessary. Joy's warmth is the first thing you notice about the restaurant - she makes you so welcome, right from the very first visit we felt we were with friends. The decor is lovely and then we get to the food. OH, My! The choice on the menu is excellent, not the usual few dishes but a wide range of excellent choices. It is served with delicacy. It is, as others have said, a gem of a restaurant.
Banthai – St. Annes-On-SeaReally friendly staff, yummy food and lots of space between the tables so you don't feel at all cramped. Can't say I regularly eat Chinese food but when I do, it's invariably here at Lou Shang.. .
Lou-Shang Cantonese Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaJoys Banthai restaurant is very good. It has very good service. They are very friendly and nice. The food is lovely. My favourite is the lemon chicken....mmm.
Banthai – St. Annes-On-SeaWe went to the Moghul on Mothers Day and had the Sunday banquet which was great value. I can say that the service was excellent, very warm and welcoming and the food just superb. The Bangledeshi flat fish and the aubergine starters were fantastic. My mouths watering just thinking about the meal! We'll definitely be going back soon. Keep up the great work guys.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaI eat here for the first time last Thursday and from walking in the door the atmosphere, service and food was superb. Only gripe is the price of the alcohol, but the food more than made up for that. Excellent place to visit if you like Turkish Food.
