Salters Wharf Toby Carvery – St. Annes-On-SeaHad a great meal at this restaurant after reading reviews on Sugarvine. Friendly service and a good view over St Annes square.
Lou-Shang Cantonese Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaRecently visited the Moghul after not having been for a few years. The new decor doesn't make the restaurant feel cosy - some warmer colours would help that. The food was excellent, and the service was very good too. The only real niggle was that I ordered an espresso which turned out to be a small cup full of normal not very strong black coffee.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaI cannot recommend this place highly enough, the food is excellent and cooked to perfection. The staff are very easy going and you can enjoy your food in a really friendly relaxing atmosphere. I can recommend the meatballs starter and the pasta/pizzas, and you take your own wine and beer. Thanks again for a great meal.
Olivers – St. Annes-On-SeaLoved this place. Has that low key, edge of a city vibe. A lovely antidote to the pretentious restaurants that try too hard with huge menus. This place had 6 tables I think and operates a BYO system and nice short tight menu. Great to able to take in a good bottle of wine without paying a fortune for it. We had a very authentic Paella that we ordered a couple of days before and meatballs to start. Both were excellent. Heard the pizzas are especially good so will be trying those next time.
Olivers – St. Annes-On-SeaIt was a very quite restaurant which i dont know why as the food is fantastic. Had starters which was very filling with very fresh soft tasty bread. Service is very good and friendly staff. Will go there again for sure. Highly recommended.
Anatolia – St. Annes-On-SeaDelightfully fresh restaurant. Went for lunch mid week so it was quiet. The staff are very efficient and very charming with good sense of humour, nothing was too much trouble. Food excellent. We did order too much as we hadn't reckoned on the home made bread which was irresistible, whitebait starter was best Ive tasted as was the calamari. Everthing fresh, spicy and beautifully served. We shall be returning. Well done
Anatolia – St. Annes-On-SeaVisited this restaurant two times over the past month and on both occasions the food and service was excellent. The staff are relaxed and attentive. Definitely recommend.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaJack's has been a favourite for a long time now and we are so happy they are doing well! Now open for breakfast and the choice and quality of fayre is excellent as always, I would recommend the "eggs royale" personally but my wife has enjoyed the eggs benedict, full english, crumpets and croisants (not all at once!). In evening the standars is tip top as ever, I love the rib eye and the belly pork, so good I think we might go tonight!!
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaWe are huge curry lovers and have travelled both the UK and abroad eating and rating Indian cuisine. This restaurant is superb! Each time we visit we are warmly welcomed by staff who bend over backwards to ensure a quality evening. The food is excellent, always tasty and the meat dishes are always succulent. Most times we visit the food is served promptly and piping hot. The menu has always been extensive and it can be difficult to choose which dish to pick, however you are offered a complimentary dish to try which we think is a massive ++. Can be a little on the pricy side but worth every penny if you are after quality and not quantity. I believe that it has recently undergone a makeover, including menu, and hope that it has not lost any of its excellence during this transition. Fully recommend.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaI have often eaten at lunchtime at the Pavillion but on Saturday night went for our evening meal on the recommendation of a friend. The service and food were superb. My starter was black pudding bacon and poached egg followed by beautiful lamb. I asked for an extra spoon to sample my husband's starter, scallop chowder-delicious,Lovely steak also. To finish we squeezed in gorgeous lemon roulade. The finishing touch was the smooth vocalist (Saturdays, pianist Fridays). A lovely relaxed evening, a credit to all involved. Definately worth a return visit.
The Pavillion – St. Annes-On-SeaHad a great lunch on Tuesday 24/77/12 Kept promising ourselves we would visit it was worth the wait But not any more. The sun shone to make it all the better.
Beach Terrace – St. Annes-On-SeaVisited this restaurant quite a few times now and it's always been consistently good. Service is good, efficient and staff are very attentive and pleasant. The menu is very extensive so I always try a different dish - every time the dishes have been delicious - really tasty and quite different from other Indian restaurants I have been to. This Indian food is excellent and of the highest quality and thoroughly recommended.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaExcellent food whether it's for lunch or evening meal. Superb, highly recommended!
Olivers – St. Annes-On-SeaWhat a hidden gem of a Restaurant! We dined at the Banthai on a wet Tuesday evening. It was very busy. We had some very tasty dishes, authentic.... I would like to say! The waiting staff were attentive, friendly and made our evening very pleasant. All the dishes we had were cooked to perfection, flavoured and plentiful. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner as she went from table to table to make sure that everything was fine.I recommend this fabulous restaurant to anyone who wants to have original and authentic Thai food....it is the best I have had outside of Thailand..Thank you to you all and I shall return soon.
Banthai – St. Annes-On-SeaTook the family for an early dinner last night, I wasn't sure we would get a table with it being the start of the golf but we were accommodated no problem. The food and service were excellent as always! This is my fiance's favorite place to go and it's obvious why, great food and the best atmosphere around, I bet they clean up during the golf!!
Tiggis St Annes – St. Annes-On-Seavisited this superb restaurant recently. The food is absolutely delicious and authentic. The staff and owners were so friendly even on busy night . Prawn with Penang sauce is to die for... will be back soon
Banthai – St. Annes-On-SeaTable for 4 on Saturday 07/07/12. As a vegetarian for 30 years the halloumi main course was delicious. One of our friends is French/Algerian & eats mainly lamb. She raved about the lamb shoulder saying it was the best lamb dish she has ever had & insisted telling the chef! All starters & main courses were faultless. Good service & good value. Looking forward to our next visit. Steve & Bev Woods. Lytham St Annes.
