By far the best Indian cuisine I have ever tasted. I will not go anywhere else!!!
The Dilraj – St. Annes-On-SeaVisited Anatolia on Friday night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The whole experience was excellent. Mixed mezes to share and then the BBQ mix grill (which was huge). All the food was tasty, incredibly fresh and definitely moreish! Service was delightful and the bill refreshingly small. Lovely, crisp Turkish white wine but sadly not able to try pudding due to size of main course (will try on next visit). Can't wait to return for great food and excellent service.
Anatolia – St. Annes-On-SeaAs a vegetarian, one of the ways i judge a venues attitude to us Veggies is by the use of Parmesan in Vegetarian Dishes. Any establishment who has properly sourced their ingredients and has done an ounce of research knows that Parmesan is not suitable for Veggies. (it contains animal rennet - juices from the Stomach of Slaughter Calves) Therefore i was most disappointed when browsing the Cafe Grand menu, to discover Vegetarian items on the menu containing Parmesan. Makes you wonder how they source the ingredients for other Vegetarian Dishes too? Sorry The Grand, you've lost a customer!
Cafe Grand – Grand Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaI saw the recommendations on sugarvine and decided to take my Greek Cypriot father for his birthday, he thought i was joking! Until we left the restaurant after a fantastic evening, with amazing food and service. What a great experience, such friendly staff. Thank you for looking after my dad, he loves your Baklava! I enjoyed it so much I'm going again tomorrow night!
Anatolia – St. Annes-On-SeaBeautiful, freshly prepared and mouth watering Turkish food. Its hard to find good turkish food in the UK but this place has got it spot on. The meats and kebabs cooked on the BBQ here are not your take away kebabs! Meze's (or tapas) are to die for! Generous portions for under 4 pounds you get a huge portion of your chosen meze and stacks of home made hot bread - or a mixed meze for around 5£ you get 3 different meze's, turkish cheese roles and again as much bread as you like. After visiting other local restaurants i know you can pay over £5 for a tiny pot of hummous and three think slices of pitta bread and thats your lot! Here the main courses are enough to satisfy the largest of appetites and average around £10 per main. Very reasonable, friendly atmosphere and it has the locals talking!!
Anatolia – St. Annes-On-SeaFound this on Sugarvine! Wow! Food & service is the best, great tasting food, a must try. Great value for your buck. We will be seeing you soon.
Anatolia – St. Annes-On-SeaExcellent food, superb service !! All you need for a great night out... Try the Balti Exotica
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaWe were in St Annes for a few days and had a marvellous meal at the Moghul. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We were offered a complimentary dish which gave us the opportunity to try something new. Definitely worth a return visit.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaWent the other night ,Great food ,good atmosphere,Fantastic price, Will go again and again. Kids liked it as well.
Olivers – St. Annes-On-SeaAnyone remember this place when it was K-FOG in the early eighties? Way ahead of its time serving Pacific Rim food out of San Francisco. Anyway, I digress. Jack’s it is now and has been for some time and I always enjoy my meals here. Plenty of choice in terms of food and wine and there always seem to be set menus/special offers if you want to watch the pennies. Not your standard fare either with a French/Med/North African thing going in which makes for a pleasant change. The only thing I don’t like is the telly that’s been added. No volume (thank the Lord) but not my cup of tea in a restaurant. But that’s a minor quibble. I would highly recommend Jack’s.
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaThe Zen, St Annes, is a wonderful experience. We have been several times and whether you are a large or small party you will be given the same VIP treatment. We went on one occasion for my husband's 50th, the youngest guest was 5 and the oldest > 70-all of us were given the Ernest service.Beautiful surroundings, great food, batteries for our camera, lovely wine, children welcome and a surprise gift for the Birthday Boy.We save this restaurant for special occasions, I have never written a Thank You letter to a restaurant before this perfect night-thank you Zen, all staff brilliant!
The Zen Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaJust been to the Olive Tree. What can I say? If you want poor quality, overpriced, tasteless food, in thankfully small portions, you'll be in the right place. I love Greek food, but would never return here.
Olive Tree Brasserie – St. Annes-On-SeaVisited the restaurant this evening and wasn't disappointed! Food was delicious and the service was excellent, I can thoroughly recommend the Lamb Sheek to start and the Akbkori Chicken for main, (which we were offered as a complementary main dish). We were also offered a complimentary drink at the end of our meal and all this at a very reasonable price. Will definitely visit again and absolutely recommend!
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaAnatolia, St Annes, is something of a hidden treasure. From the outside it could be mistaken for a takeaway, but step inside to the clean and tidy interior and you will be welcomed by friendly attentive staff. The food is cooked over an open BBQ with a variety of Turkish food for (lamb, chicken and vegatarian) .We had an Effes beer whilst choosing.I had Babunya Pilaki-tasty borlotti beans to start, my husband had Hellim, a not- too- salty hallumi. He then had delicious tender lamb shank and I had Iskender, another lamb dish ,which strangely had chunks of turkish bread in the tomato sauce and was dressed with youghurt. Wines last night were Turkish white and Lindemann's sermillion. We were too full to sample the dessert menu (baklava, sticky toffee pudding or syrup sponge). Lovely evening, tasty food and excellent service.Yet another great restaurant in St Annes.
Anatolia – St. Annes-On-SeaI visited with a group of friends, we had to wait for 1hour from sitting down before being served our starters and then they forgot one order. When our main meal arrived, my pizza was swimming in grease and my friends 'Tuna' pizza was rock hard and barely had any tuna actually on it, we did complain at this and were told that they would talk to the chef, but we didn't receive any feedback from this complaint or any money off our bill. I wont be going back to this restaurant and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The competition is hotting up in st.annes, with many great restaurants opening, so I think Margherita restaurant will need to pull their socks up or keep loosing business!
Margherita – St. Annes-On-SeaVisited the area on business recently and as I love Indian food thought I'd give the Moghul a try. I was very impressed, the menu is extensive with some very different dishes, the service was great, and the food itself was superb - cooked to perfection & tasted amazing. Of the 4 nights I was in the area, I went to the Moghul on 3 occasions !! I will definitely be back when I am next in the area.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaCannot fault the service and food, we will be back, the best Indian in the Fylde.
